I recently "removed" a character from a campaign - https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/45154359 - and discovered I have done so in error. It appears the character was also deleted from the account owner - Mikeym426 - as it no longer appears on his character list.
How would we reassign this character to the account owner so that he can add it back to the campaign?
If it was unclaimed when you removed it, that might have been the issue. (That character sheet should have a username associated with it.) If your player submits a ticket to customer support they can help, but tell them to be patient as support has been backed up.
It is an appropriate medium for most queries, however anything that requires actions to be taken on an account, need to go via Customer Service, to adhere to security and privacy standards.
