You should be able to take a spell from this list and "save" or "take" option on the spell and it can be added to your spell list on your character sheet. Not sure if this is already a thing or not since we don't have phase 2 yet but I think that would be super helpful. This way instead of having the whole list of warlock or other spell list, you know all the spells you can do in one place.
It's a good thought, but I am certain this will be included in the character sheets.

Have you considered setting up a filter to identify common spells? For instance, if you were to click both the bard and druid tab, you would get spells common to both classes.
'R' in a small book, by the spell name, means Ritual - but it doesn't tell me that anywhere I can see. The same goes for a <C> by the duration meaning concentration.
I know these things, but newer 5e players might not and it would be much more user-friendly with something to explain them at a glance. It could be as basic as a mouse-over revealing the full word, or even a key of some kind somewhere to show what all the little symbols mean.
Thanks.
There's a little book with an R next to the spells name, for ritual. Like the c shows up in the spell duration. Take a look at Alarm for an example.
I was suggesting a way to explain what they mean at a glance, whether via mousing over those small symbols or a list of what each mean, to make it more accessible.
So the ritual rules in the SRD are tied into the classes, and since classes arent yet in until the character builder, I guess the rules for rituals aren't listed here yet.
I just used DnD Beyond last night while I DM'd a game and I have the following suggestions for the Spell Listing:
1. Page numbers for non-SRD spells : Add all official WOTC spells to the list but not including descriptions for those that aren't SRD. Instead have a source book and page number displayed. Ex: Ice Knife - Princes of the Apocalypse page 237 . I have all the books and it would be nice to do a quick search to make sure which book has which spell.
2. Highlight key words in the spell description: Use a different color text, background, or even just bold format important text for a spell. Ex. "2d8 fire damage", "one target", "Save for half damage", etc. Some of this information is in the spell header but I still have to read the text to get this other important information.
3. Color for the spell header: Just a color difference between the areas like "Range/Area" and "School". The uniform style makes it hard to do a quick glance look during game play.

I have spent some time looking at the spell section and I think it is clear and well designed. I especially like the small icons (once I started noticing them and understood what they were for) and how the make it easy to have an "at a glance" view of the spell. The filtering ability is a nice option and improving with input from the beta. If this connects eventually to a character or "spellbook" I could see it replacing all the different ways I have tried to track my spells of the years including: notebooks with notes and page number references, spell cards, and "better than nothing" phone apps. I additionally like the ability to dig deeper..****y if you wish. As I noted earlier, it is amazing how much you have packed into one line of text and icons.
I think a great little addition in the spell list would be the ability to add small notes. This way i can add notes to certain spells , either so i can quickly remember how it works if i have had uncertainties about it previously, or if my homebrew has some changes to certain spells. anyway, just an idea that you might concider.
In addition to negative VSM filtering, I can see use cases for negative any filters. For example, a bard get to pick spell as from any class 10th and 14th. I'd like to see what my non-bard options are.
So far the layout is great! I love having my character's spells printed out so I don't spend my whole evening with my nose in the player's handbook. The only issue I've had so far is some of the spells are missing. I know of at least two spells, a ranger spell and a cleric spell. Update that and make it so spells are easily addable to the character sheet when phase 2 is open and this will be epic!

Can every part of a spell be searchable? especially things like damage type and debuffs.
There are a lot of reasons to want to search by things that give disadvantage, for example. It would be great for that to include all the named debuffs that can grant that.
Also, what if I'm an ice sorcerer? I want to just see ice spells so I can get my sweet damage bonus pls.

Look at the spells page again, and the filters - below the normal ones is a button for advanced filters, and those do include damage types and conditions - https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells
Perhaps labeling a spell as accessible to the spell casting subclass of fighter and rogue and labeled as in cleric domains and paladin oaths accessible.

I see that now, awesome!
I asked the same thing, in the video though you see this is in fact in the app but will come in phase 2

In the ranger class, level 1 spells ensnaring strike and hail of thorns are not there.
Budzek,
Keep in mind the only content in the tools are from the WotC SRD: http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/systems-reference-document-srd

Not sure if there is a separate area just for things missing. But I can't find the spell "hail of Thorns".

Greater Restoration does not have the healing tag like lesser restoration has.

Just noticed Thunderous Smite is missing. It's from player handbook
