If you're harassing me to accept them every single time I visit your site, how optional are they, really? I've made my choice. Stop asking.
If you're getting the message repeatedly, then that means one of your browser settings is not saving that choice. That's not something D&D Beyond can control
How would that choice be saved? As a cross-site tracking cookie? Because that's the only kind I'm blocking.
That does sound like the exact kind that would fall under optional cookies
OK, well, I'm not going to enable cross-site tracking cookies simply because D&D Beyond gives me a hectoring message every time I visit. I'd rather D&D Beyond stopped hectoring me about it.

What happens if you decline the message rather than agree?
I use Safari for iOS, and have all cross-site tracking blocked, heck, as far as I know I have every privacy setting my browser and devices offer enabled. What keeps triggering it for me is every time I clear my history and cookies, which I do periodically just as a matter of course. Do you also regularly clear your history and cookies?

I get it again a few days later.
I'm not sure what triggers it. For instance, I just exited Firefox and ran it again, and I didn't get the message. Maybe it happens after a system reboot. Maybe it's just a timed thing.

No, I don't. But I wonder whether certain cookies get cleared when I reboot. (I don't see a setting that tells Firefox to do that, though.)

This does sound like a client/browser side behaviour and perhaps something is clearing your cookies including your response to the dialogue

It came back today after a Windows update.
ETA: It's also been one month since I last had the issue. I wonder whether that could have anything to do with it.
