I noticed that the DMG 2024 was recently updated, and I was wondering if there are release notes or patch notes available that detail what’s new.
If there is a way to find this information, it seems very hard to locate. Does anyone know if release notes exist, or is this something that’s not typically provided?
It would be great if updates like this came with accessible patch notes, as it makes tracking changes much easier.
No, there's no patch notes because it's not a patch. It's a new book. To see the new book content you need to buy the book.

I'm talking about updates to source books I've got. The DMG got updated, I had download de update but I don't know what the changes are
Either way, no there's no listing of updates. There's no guarantee any content was even changed as many updates are backend stuff.

Pretty sure they mean from the mobile app. The mobile app for D&D Beyond always has that the books are "Updated" but as you said, it doesn't say where/how or anything.
Eventually this will be the place for rules changes. They did release a 2014 errata PDFs but these are likely to be "once things calm down" after a year or so.
Most updates to the books in the mobile app are simply fixes for things such as formatting, links, images, etc. Errata will almost always come with an announcement.

Thanks for the response!
That is to bad. A little note at least would satisfy my curiosity.
