Since many people, including myself, like to plan out builds its really nice to see whats coming up for my class, but it would be nice to be able to configure our future levels for application. If you were able to select an option that told the Builder to lock in our level up decisions so we didn't have to make them again. Turning it off would unlock and revert them.
In addition, being able to do this from the view character screen would allow us to get screenshots of our future character strength and powers rather then from a UI of rows of data.
I'd like to be able to rename skills. I know we can already create new skills, but I'm planning a sci-fi game and it'd be much easier to rename things like Arcana into "Tech" and Animal Handling into "Drone Hack" instead of making new skills and cluttering up the list.
I'd like to suggest a compiled living compendium on specific game features. I would happily pay for this either to just ddb or to wotc.
Basically, if I need to look up information on tools and tool proficiencies I need to scan at least 3 books and sometimes sage advice to figure out how I can best use these things Raw and rai. Then things might change when a new supplement comes out.
Instead, if there was a single thing I could refer to on a specific topic that is covered in multiple sources and would update constantly that would be ideal for me.
Is there any plan to have an all in one digital DM screen? One screen with all the PC's basic information so we don't have to keep bouncing back and forth to get to the characters info while trying to play as well as the usual DM info used on a physical DM screen?

I believe that's on the list, but no word on how long it will be
well one may believe that it will be in general features as they also mentionned a long time ago that campaign management was coming and i mean by that the campaign page was getting an overhaul. that may or may not be in general feature which is a bunch of stuff put together. only them knows whats in that really.

I'd like to see some more functionality in the "Hit Points" area. Specifically I'd like to be able to use the digital dice to roll hit points and then keep a record of them by level where they are rolled. I love being able to use the digital dice for ability rolls. I'm thinking maybe this is a step "down the road"?
When trying to homebrew a class or sub-class, the ability to tailor spellcasting is too limited. For instance, I would like to make both Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster have the option to be wizard based, with a spellbook, or sorcery based, using charisma. The wizard version would need to pay double to add spells to their book, normal cost for the schools associated with the class, and prepare a number of spells per day equal to 1/2 their class level plus their Intelligence modifier. So they'd have more options overall, but have fewer actually available at a time. The sorcerer option would simply have Charisma as their spell mod, be able to sacrifice slots for sorcery points, and at level 10 would gain a small pool of sorcery points (2?) instead of an additional cantrip. None of these options are even remotely possible given the way homebrew is presently laid out.
Yo! There should be a feature that allows players to group their created characters in different folder sections. Like, have a folder for backup characters for x campaign and another folder for backup characters in y campaign. Another reason for this would be a folder for meme characters. I have many of which I don't want to delete but clog up the visual space.
Also, another thing that would be AMAZING would be the ability for players to hide their characters name/race/class. Setting a character to private mode does not hide these details and for those who want to keep their character a secret until they are revealed it's quite annoying to join a campaign and see exactly what the rest of the party is without interacting with that character in-game (run along with sentence I know).
Additionally, a more intuitive homebrew creation mechanism would be great. I don't know if it is just me but I always have trouble making my own homebrew simply due to the overwhelming options and perhaps vague instructions on what each option affects.
I'd like the ability to add spellcasting features to feats. I'm homebrewing Class Devotion feats like Pathfinder 2e and without making a subclass for every single class combination making a feat that allows the monk player to multiclass into wizard without making an entirely new subclass while having limited spell slots instead of "at will".
I feel this has been suggested hopefully i didn't say it before but a feature to homebrew your own class be insane like we have subclass which is nice and all but a whole new class would add flavor to the dndbeyond secen. Instead of people relying on dndwiki or copy pasting it into a subclass. That be sick or a map maker, city/capital or village and dungeon maker feature.

I’m sure this has probably been asked before, but is there any chance of having a price (value) band indicated for magic items in cases where they might feasibly be purchasable i.e. not for artefacts etc.?
If we currently look up a magic item, we then have to look elsewhere to determine what it might typically cost to buy it, and it can get a bit clunky.

Just a thought.
It is not a DDB question but a WotC question. And, part of their idea of having Magic Items as rare and special things, they don't have prices on them. That doesn't mean you can't put a price on them! Because I did! Check my signature for the link to the file.
The Cunning Intuition racial feature (ERftLW, pg. 49) says you can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to your ability check when you make a Charisma (Performance) or Dexterity (Stealth) check. Currently I do not see a way to add a roll in Skills Customization, just flat modifiers. I think it would be helpful if the character sheet either automatically rolled and added the d4 to ability checks for stealth and performance, or added the ability in the Customization section of Skills to add a roll formula.

But they do. In the DMG section about Magic Items it assigns a suggested price band based on rarity. That’s all I’m thinking of - including those price bands against the item’s details in DDB, because I can personally never remember them and it could potentially save a lot of time in gameplay.

can we have the ability to add our characters as "monsters" to the encounter builder for our players to fight?
You can, you just have to recreate them as monsters using the homebrewer.
