I think they should add in separate homebrew collections, so you can designate what homebrew can and can’t be used. I also want to filter homebrew by players, as another player in the campaign I’m in also does homebrew, and I make my private homebrew with a (HB), and he doesn’t mark his homebrew. We have to use the campaign to access the books the dm bought, and I am homebrewing UA content for that campaign. I really need to know what is his and what isn’t. Plus, other players are probably going to use his stuff on accident, as they cannot look at what I’ve created and figure out if unit is my homebrewed UA or his homebrew.
Has anyone mentioned Archiving this thread annually so it's less meandering? A separate thread could be made with links to each years threads, and maybe a list could be generated of recognized suggestions and maybe even fulfilled suggestions... This thread is so long it's almost unnavigable.
They actually have this. You can remove stuff from your collection which removed it from being selected, but it doesn't delete it from what you've made.
The ability to create new items, magical and non-magical. I made a few homebrew weapons for my game and I was pretty disappointed to find out I couldn't create them with dnd beyond.

You can make new magical items with DNDBeyond. When you make common magic items, they don't automatically list themselves in a character's inventory as being magical.

I actually like this idea. Making a main thread with links to all other threads for this, and having a new one for each year.

I never knew common magical items were listed as non-magical.

It's more that magic items of Uncommon Rarity or higher appear in the character sheet with an altered Color, and they always appear at the top of the inventory/container, regardless of alphabetical order. Common magic items don't do that, so people have been homebrewing nonmagical items as common ones.
It'd be nice to be able to add basic equipment or tool kits on their own, but this is the next best thing since it works the same way in the character sheet. The only problem is how it's listed when using search criterea.
I would love to see a campaign table... something that you can load pre-made maps and tokens into... doesn't have to be fancy, just something you can update live so players can see where they are at.
I think we should have more titles at higher level unlocks. I would like that, but after 100 posts, you have to have more and more posts to get to each adventurer title, like at 150 posts, then 200, then 300, and so on.
Marking a magic item as a container in Homebrew should let it be USED as a container.
Allow us to create Ammunition in Homebrew. Right now, I have to call my created ammunition Potions so that I can get them to have groups of more than 1.

I also wanted to homebrew ammo, so I just made a homebrew weapon. It isn’t exactly the same, but it works.
Also, I don’t see an option to make a magic item a container.

This is only a fix, but not the one we want, but you can make custom ammo that stacks by making a homebrew copy of another ammo that stacks, then editing it for the effects you want.
Please, allow us to make (and publish) homebrew on other languages. For the foreigners, it would be actual gamechanger. It says. Some people are more comfortable with " Non-english Language". At least, give us permission to use them for our sessions.

You are absolutely already welcome to create homebrew in other (non-English) languages for personal use! Any homebrew that you create and that is in your Collection will automatically be shared with other users’ characters in your Campaigns, no subscription required; you do not need to publish it.
Publishing in English-language only ensures that all published homebrew adheres to the Homebrew Rules & Guidelines, which helps keep D&D Beyond safe and welcoming!

When I try to save, it gives me the error "You must select a weapon type." There is no arrow or bolt or any other ammunition listed in the weapon types that I can choose.
Could we have the ability to have a custom solid color for the background on the character sheet? Or maybe even have some basic colors that aren’t just multiple choices for black.

Can you add in the homebrew creation for modifiers "Choose Charisma or Wisdom"

Would love to see a run encounter button add to the adventures, that auto fills the encounter with the monsters and players
also on encounters, adding monsters that dont add to the XP. (thinking pets and the like)
