100%. Even if you're not actively playing some characters, it would be fantastic if you had a folder system to sort for future use. In particular, I would be able to store a batch of pre-generated one-shot characters I provide to new players should they need them.
Folders for Subscription Holders to manage their unlimited characters. Would also be extremely useful for "my homebrew collection" and the "encounter builder" sections that can quickly fill up. Seems like such an obvious addition for a website like this, but it seems to have been um'd and ah'd by the devs for 5 straight years.
I know it's not a new suggestion, just jumping in here to be the 2310652 person to recommend this feature since 2017 in hopes that it will be the straw to break the camels back.
Please make it possible to create a generic magic weapon, not based on an existing weapon, and be able to set base damage, range, properties (even if just free form text).
I have been a subscriber for a few years. The biggest reason that I use DnDBeyond is the Afterschool D&D Club that I run with another teacher at our school. I will acknowledge right now that some of the things I am asking come from that perspective. That said I am hoping that with Wizard's new push for Dungeons and Dragons school curriculum that there will be some consideration for school programs that use the platform.
Campaign character # limit- We have 16 students sign up. The current number of Characters a campaign will allow is 12. So we had to create a second identical campaign to accommodate the characters.
Color Coded Character Sheets Background and Frames- The DnDBehond character sheet is great but it handles a lot of info and learning where that info is on the page is slow going. It would be super helpful to say, "Skills are in the purple box," as opposed to, "uh the rectangle beneath intelligence."
I really like your idea of colour coded character sheet sections. Something that could be toggled on or off by the individual viewing the sheet, and maybe it could be helpful to those with vision issues. It should be colours that are accessible to anyone with colour blindness.
We can already make copies of our own encounters. Why not let us copy/import encounters described in the book?
Agreed, but I'm afraid you're not going to get any traction on this forum. Encounter Builder is still in beta though, so you can add this suggestion there (blue bar). You are more likely to be heard that way.
I was wondering if there could be a way of copying a character? That way you could make a character at level 1 and at level 20 without having to make from scratch.
Also, being able to move/copy a character to and from campaigns would be nice - even if this is a DM only feature

There is a "Copy" button on the character card on the My Characters page. As for copying characters between campaigns, as far as I know, that can only be done by sending invitations from the campaign you want them to join. Would be nice if there were an easier method for DMs but considering that other players often own the characters, that may be more difficult than it sounds.
Can we have a digital dice jail/dungeon for waywould dice within D&DBeyond. Surely this must have been suggested before.
Could just be a giant hammer crushing bad dice to dust or a separate screen to visit bad dice being punished. Maybe dice heaven with crystals to prepare the dice for the next game just like in real life.
Being able to move inventory between players in a campaign would be really nice. One of the PCs in my campaign died, and he has a Bag of Holding that contains a lot of custom items. Having to recreate that in another player's inventory is tedious
I wish we could add encounters to a campaign. It seems like a logical tool to have. Maybe even a way to use the characters of a campaign to roll against an encounter.

You can...with a subscription. The encounter builder is still in beta so it is currently only available to subscribers. Hero tier is sufficient.
This might feel like a small thing, but if i could hover over a character in my characters and see their whole class, rather than the truncated version, that would be so helpful. I have so many multiclasses that i often only see the first class + subclass and can't tell what they were multiclassed with. as i often have multiple characters that mc into and out of the same classes (cough cough warlock) i have to open each character sheet individually to remember what the heck their classes are.
also, as has been said repeatedly and reiterated multiple times - folders for characters would be so helpful. even just being able to tag them and then search for the tag would be so much more useful than desperately trying to remember who an npc and who wasn't, who's dead and who's not.
I am hero tier, but I don't see how to add an encounter to the campaign with the characters. Is there a link or something to show how it is done? I can make encounters, it is the linking I haven't found

When you edit the encounter & select Manage Characters under Select Preset, that's where you can select the campaign. Note that it's not dynamic, it takes the character levels at the time you make the selection, so when they change you'd have to re-select the campaign again. Not that's usually an issue unless you keep the encounter for a long time.

YES! Moving inventory between players would be ideal!
Did the development stop for this website? Since Wizards took over we are not getting updates and there are no new features either.
Must say sadly it does look that way
Let's not throw around hearsay without confirmation from DnDBeyond itself. Not to mention it's offtopic anyway.
