As Dungeon Master I create my campaign and players joins through my link. When they create a new character they have plenty of options (races, classes, subclasses, etc..) but not every option is allowed by me the DM. Is it possible to edit the campaign view so that I can filter off the options unavailable to players? As result the players can easily create their character beforehand well knowing what options they can choose.
A way to link an encounter from the encounter builder with the maps feature. Would be nice if i just press a button and all the necessary tokens for the encounter would load.
Can we please have a way to organize our characters? Those of us who have a subscription may have hundreds of characters and no way to organize them other than to give them extra characters at the beginning of the name. It would also be helpful to sort by "Characters in a Campaign". thank you.
Can you guys PLEASE make it so when you edit a post the dice stay BAKED after they've been rolled? I am so TIRED of getting 'manipulated dice roll' messages when all I did was EDIT to see what the roll was as a DM so i could KNOW how to react, without needing to roll it on my sheet so the players can ALSO see my rolls without needing to keep several tabs open simultaneously.
Seriously, please make it so once a dice has been rolled, it stays as what it was! and cannot be changed for ANY reason, if it was a mistake roll they can add text after and ROLL AGAIN!

This would be very nice and useful. I am guessing that there is likely a complex bit of programming required to make this happen, or this would have already happened.
(As a note, I have gotten in the habit of not editing a post with rolls. I just create another post. But having the rolls hard wired into the program would be sweet.)
A La Carte purchases would be great, I own the physical books so I don't need or want to pay to buy them all online, what I want my players to be able to do is create the characters they are making using the books we own on DnD beyond and just pay for the species, class, subclass, background, spells etc that they need.
Despite how unlikely it is for this feature, for the love of god please add the ability to create custom classes, so much mucking about with other sites and software to use these classes, I want to use DnDBeyond but too strict on what can be made.
I'd *really* like a change log attached to each sheet to track changes. This should include spell changes, HP, limited feature charges, item additions, item attunement, etc. Obv if you have a player blatantly cheating you call them out but its so easy to make additions/changes under the DM's nose they probably will never see unless they are checking the players sheets like every day. Only good thing about physical sheets i guess!

Actually yea you can specifically toggle certain books on and off in your content sharing. You can also have players toggle 3rd party content off in their sheets. At the end of the day I would think it would be easier to provide players a list of approved races/classes not allowed. Even if you missed something in your ban list you just tell them "hey, this option doesnt vibe with this campaign/my table". If they arent shit lords they will understand and makes changes.

This would be really great. Please do this. The core rules are guidelines/a base, please let us expand into territory the game intended to allow us to do.
Can we make the digital dice rolling better please, I would like it if the dice didn't start in the middle of the screen and then bounce terribly off the sides of the window. I think it would be much better if the dice rolled from the side to the middle and bounced from there. I feel this would help to make the dice roll more than just a single terrible bounce off the side of the window and not really rolling much. Please look into potentially just changing where the dice roll starts from.

I can agree to a point, but i shouldn't have to. We pay for a service, and there hasn't been much 'updating' in a while. and i dont want to be forced to have 3-4 posts in a single chunk to resolve rolls as they come up just to avoid dice error.

In all due respect, you are paying for what you are already getting. You are asking to get something more. And it would be at the good graces of the owners of this site to grant this. And I agree that this would be a nice addition.
This is not the first site where I have ran RPG games from. Ironically, the other site had the same issue with the dice rollers with a very similar look in the message board setup, like this is a purchased piece of software from a third party. If this is the case, then this particular request may not be possible within the message board format. And you also have the dice rolling options from the Character Sheet that populates to the Game Log.
I agree that having the rolls hard wired within the message board thread would be sweet and convenient. But there are ways around it.
And the dice randomly deciding to cast themselves and put dice manipulation notices is not functional. Because the moment a single dice does this, EVERY other dice roll within that post gets manipulated and changed. I am not asking for a 'new' feature. I am asking for a feature that should have already been implemented from the beginning.
And as someone who is paying for a service, I should not have to find workarounds for something I'm paying for to a multimillion dollar company.
If I go to a restaurant, its the chef who cooks the food, with the spices, **I** shouldn't have to find the spices for the chef, or help them prep any part of it.
And with HTML you can program almost anything. I'm sure the poor multimilliondollar company i'm asking to make the core feature of the game work without error could get it fixed, if they cared.
Beastmastery hunters (new) have been out for a long time, and they still haven't added the 'beast of the land, sky, water' statblock that functions with the character sheet, into the website - I recently, actually had to create the statblock myself to play it in a game just a few weeks ago. That is not the job of the Customer, that is the job of the Business.
There are some DM's who Kick players when they see 'manipulated dice' rolls, so this is also effecting players experiences in PBP games. Whether the player was actually cheating or not.

Can we please have a filter on the Encounter Builder to filter out unowned sources? It makes navigating the potential creatures much more difficult than it needs to be.

yea something that expands on the content sharing like where you can chose which books to share maybe have a further drop down with the unlocks for each book you can just tick on or off.
This is never going to be a thing, mainly because the functionality to allow it would be far to vast and open, as someone who works on web app sites such as this you are talking about a whole and entire application all on it's own to give the kind of functionality and flexiability to make anything. That is a tool that would take up the entire resources of a dev team just on it's own, for very little in terms of payback for the time and effort. And it is a tool that will probably not be used anywhere near as much as you might think. Creating an entire class from scratch is not something that many people do, and that's a good thing, balancing an entire class so it fits with the other classes and doesn't overpower the table takes alot of time, skill and effort, and then you need to make a subclass to sit atop that class, yet more bespoke functionality that needs to be open ended and cater to anything.
Sorry for sounding naive as I have no development back ground and no doubt I'm over simplifying this but could you not create something like a class editor so could police an existing class as a base and then customise the options from there ? Like how creating a homebrew character? And it would be up to the DM of the game to decide if the character is to op or unbalanced but it should not stop you from doing it.
Digital dice jail. Something I can throw them in when the dice misbehave on rolls, like a cage I can grab and shake around to let the dice know I'm disappointed in it.
Okay that's actually funny AF
