It's a trainwreck that would take MONTHS of manual recoding to fix. Months w/o digital sales or access to Maps.
The usual software engineering solution when a complete rework is required is a new product that has the ability to import data from the old one. Which is a ton of work and almost always involves leaving functionality that someone cares about on the cutting room floor because reimplementing it was too much work (see a la carte). Which is how you wind up with legacy software systems that still have components from last millennium.
A la carte option to buy items. since it was taken out I stopped buying anything. Until this option is being brought back I won't buy anything anymore.

I Used to but ala carte as needed then at some point I'd buy what was left. Now on the rare occasions I have extra cash I might buy something.
i know the artificer book got delayed for a cover issue, but many of us where counting on that book as we run campaigns in 24 rules now and we have artificers using old rules when they want to use the new ones. is there a way you can release the digital version to those of us that pre ordered the thing on dnd beyond - some of us like the moment we saw it on there....would be super useful for the games I run and all.....

It would be nice if the digital version regularly got an early release. Even if it's just a week or two.

Hard to tell if you're joking or not... I'm going to assume you are, but in case you're not (or in case others aren't aware when they see your comment) - Digital (pre-order) versions DO get an early release. 2 weeks for Master Tier Subs, 1 week for Hero Tier Subs. (For official WotC stuff only, not 3rd Party)
A la carte are not going to be coming back DDB had to make this change to get the 3rd party folks interested in listing in their site.
So make it available only for the WotC stuff. It shouldn't be that hard. Personally I bought a lot of stuff al carte because I don't really need the whole book. Now I buy almost nothing. I can't be the only one.

Everything before 2024 was considered 3rd party before that was "partnered" content and it also was when they ended the bundles of WoTC content. Its been made very clear that its never coming back so I really don't know why people keep pinging it.

People keep pinging it because the people want it. Pretty simple.
To be fair, it seems pretty clear almost no requests or suggestions are going to be adopted anytime soon, although they did create the 2024/2014 toggle in the character builder which was nice.
Other things that people have been asking for for a long time and don't seem any closer to coming to fruition:
Sidekick builder based on Tasha's Cauldron of Everything rules
Ability to save filter parameters for Encounter Builder (such as sources)
Ability to filter searches by "products I own" in searches like spells, monsters, etc instead of seeing everything (and not having to select the sources every single time)
Being able to select "Dark Gifts" in character builder
Ability to spend hit dice without taking a short rest

All third party content is partnered content, just go to the aptly named Partnered Content section of the sources page. That's where you'll find all your third party content.

A la carte was removed because DDB did not think it was worth the cost of implementing it. If it was just about third party content... they could simply not offer it for third party content.

Yeah, I haven't bought anything since they removed it.🤷🏼♂️
And not one of those was setup for an A la carte purchase. If you don't want to buy anything without an A la carte purchase option I don't know why you'd continue to subscribe but your choice. Roll 20 is the biggest competitor to DDB and they have a very limited A la carte option for some of their content it falls back to money WoTC makes more money on whole digital book sales then offering modular options from a book. I think bandwidth would be better spent suggesting actual actionable requests instead continuing to ask for something that will never happen. But you do you.
I'm sure someone has said this before but i ain't reading all that. Customisable character sheets? Essentially wanna drag and drop important parts of my sheet around the wasted space to prevent wasting time searching through tabs to re-read a feature. e.g have my spell list take up the right side of the screen. I'm sure coding something like this would be difficult.

And we all know that random lines of code can group together to form unexpected protocols.
