I would like a module like the 2nd edition campaign Birthright for warfare and kingdom management, I'm running a Forgotten Realm campaign and it would benefit from it since it would make alot of mechanics alot easier to streamline

Cool.
Hi IamSposta,
Any thoughts on this:
D&D Beyond is rapidly surpassing other gaming sites like Paizo for being able to run online games. The tools and links are superior in every way. However, this site is missing a big piece that helps improve online D&D style gaming. Players and DMs are unable to post in character. We all must post in our master user profile. There is no way to create an alias. On the Paizo Pathfinder forums, I could create as many aliases as I wanted under my user account. That way I could post as my character or as a regular NPC. In play you see the image of the character and not the user. This really enhances play.
Is this something you are looking at adding to D&D Beyond? And for D&D Beyond it could be another profit center. You could offer a couple of alias' as a start, and more with enhanced subscriptions.
For me personally? No, not so much. When I need to post out of character I preface it with this: “OOC:” and when I need to post in character I preface it with “IC:” instead. Everyone knows what’s what so it’s never been a problem for me. If it’s something other people would make use of that’s fine, I hope they get it. But for me, it would likely be more of a pain in the neck switching back and forth than I would be willing to bother with.
*can't seem to find a thread for content suggestions or requests*
With Wizards and DDB embracing Partnered Content I would really love to see some MCDM content appear on DndBeyond, especially The Talent and The Illrigger classes. Flee Mortals as well would be another great sourcebook for DnDbeyond to make available as the monster designs of MCDM are top tier.
What third party content or content partners would you like to see on DnDbeyond?

Thanks for your quick reply.
At the other gaming sites, you are actually in your alias, so there was no switching, unless you wanted to post under a different alias. You essentially had a master alias for general postings. The OOC option is always there. It is more of a visual thing with name and image associated with character in the posting. You could pick your alias as an option in the posting.
But I appreciate your feedback.
Cheers,
Mazra
It would be like another option in the pull-down menu above the token image.

Yeah, still not something I would use. I don’t care if people see my PFP, or some icon I pick for my characters or whatever else. Cosmetics and don’t really matter to me at all. I don’t care about icon frames, backgrounds, themes, none of that stuff. The only thing I ever usually customize on my DDB character sheets is the theme, but only because I find the DDB red to be kind of an eyesore. Literally I mean, it actually hurts my eyes a little. I do attach an image for my PC to the sheet, but that’s mostly so when I’m scrolling through my characters I can just look for the right face instead of having to read the names, and for the benefit of the other players in my party in case they ever look at my sheet for some reason. If it didn’t actually serve a practical function for me personally by making it easier to spot the PC I am looking for out of the list faster I honestly probably wouldn’t bother at all.
And I generally prefer to post as myself in the forums so people can recognize me, warts and all, therefore have no real need for, like, an alt account or anything. And I’m in a few different games on this site and post to them fairly regularly, so I would end up having to post under my main account, then switch to post under the alias for one character, then switch to post to another game as a different character, then back to my main, and so forth and so on. I can’t be bothered with all that. I already spend more than enough time on this stuff, I don’t need to add extra steps. Besides, I would constantly forget to switch and end up posting under the wrong alias in my games all the time. Not worth the effort to me. But like I said, if others want that feature then I hope the get it.
I could see with over 33,000 posts you are comfortable where you are. It was just a cool feature on the other gaming sites that is simply not available here.

I'd really like some ability to view just the content I own, and/or the ability to easily see who in my campaigns is allowing me to access a certain piece of content. The app handles this quite well, but not the website, which I use almost exclusively. It'd be great to have a "My Content" bit under collections or sources.
I had to flick through a fair number of campaigns before I managed to figure out why I could read Tome of Beasts. As it is, it's not very easy to figure out what content I've already purchased.

You'd probably gain more traction that way too. Nothng here ever moves.

Seconded. This actually is an issue rather frequently.
Would it be possible to have a way to select which fighting style/stamcenwe are using as they have an effect on combat modifiers like dueling and two weapon fighting but DND beyond doesn't currently take this into consideration. Off hand attacks would be cool to be a feature too.
alright dndbeyond, if you dont delete this for once, ive noticed that reloading the page allows you to sneak a quick glance at deleted posts. at least on my end it does that. oh well i guess you wont read it and just delete it, so why dont i save you the trouble and delete it exactly 1 day after posting. i hope you got a good look.

Hi, I am a pug and I like Noobs in Combat, Pugs and Big Weapons like Ballistas, RPGS and Recoilless Rifles.
Pm me the word Avocado🥑 For a prize!I am prob not online but pm me and i will dig up comments tht are old or forgottten. approx time about 7 days to finish and i need the approximate page number. But I will dig up the info.
I'm not sure if this was asked. But I would love a way to add an NPC to a combat encounter without it factoring into the difficulty. In truth it should factor into the players side of the calculation for friendly NPC's.
How in the WORLD has this not been added yet! It has been years and I think It would be a great addition to not just the My characters page but a few other places on this sight as well such as:
My Encounters. My reasoning for this would not only be organization but also ease of access for a campaign you are running so that a DM could sort encounters for a specific campaign ahead of time and easily find and access it.
My Homebrew Creations/Collections. This would be mostly repeating my reason for the last point but being able to create and put the homebrew you made into a folder would make campaign management SO much easier
Might I suggest folders for characters? As a DM who makes a lot of NPCs out of my player's backstories, it would make it a lot easier for me to find NPCs based on campaign folders, rather than just scrolling through all of them.
PLEASE Connect the Character sheet rolling to the Forums, specifically needed is the Play-by-Post forums. I can do this in Discord; why not here on DnD Beyond?
