Any updates on this subject? Since I can't seem to find out how to add an additional feat, not sure if the feature hasn't been added and I can't find it or not added yet.
On the character sheet, go on the Feats section, then click on Manage Feats.

I've added a feat to my character (Eldritch Adept) but the selection drop down isn't available, and I can't find it in the character builder to pick an invocation. Is there a fix for this, or is this just a limitation of the system?

From the first post of this thread on the UA that Eldritch Adept is a part of:
Eldritch Adept (UA). Unfortunately, we're not currently able to model this feat with the D&D Beyond feats system. It has been created and you will be able to select it for your characters, however it does not allow you to select and gain Eldritch Invocations.
what you can do is create a homebrew feat that replicates the invocation that you want to use.

To further clarify, this is not in the builder, its on the completed chacter sheet.
