I currently have 2 different gift cards, one is $25 and the other is $10, with my locational tax, this is enough for a book. However, alone they are not enough and I see no option to use multiple. I attempted to use one thinking it would tell me there is not enough and give me a place to put another one, it did not. Is there a way to use multiple cards on one purchase/ make 2 separated payments on it ?
I was pretty sure DDB doesn't do gift cards, and I can't find a way to buy one on the site either. What sort of cards are we talking about? Are these coupon codes or something?

I don't think that's possible (though hopefully a mod will correct me on that). If you have a Paypal account you should be able to put both cards on that and then pay with it. Otherwise, maybe ask a relative or friend with a credit card or Paypal to pay for you here and take the gift cards in return?

So as far as I can tell you're asking how to use two cards (one being a gift card) on a D&D Beyond Marketplace purchase. The only gift cards D&D Beyond would presumably be able to process would be those that function as a debit card. You basically want to max out the "gift" card and make up the difference with another mode of payment. I honestly don't know if DDB's payment processor is set up in a way that can accomodate that, but you're best off seeking advice from someone in the customer service subforum or the support their payment processor provides off site.
Rather than relying on the community who can only infer and guess at DDB's payment processing capabilities, I'd recommend going here (DDB's Marketplace help regarding payment)
If I recall correctly, purchasing content from a book reduces the cost of that book, so you might be able to use one gift card to buy a couple of subclasses and then use the other to buy the rest of the book at the discounted rate.

Visa pre-paid cards (assuming that is what you're referring to) can behave weirdly when making online purchases, especially when trying to use multiple cards. This isn't just a D&D Beyond thing, but a general online shopping thing. Some good suggestions have been made, which I'll repeat along with adding a few other options:
Try consolidating the balances onto one card; it's possible to top up some pre-paid cards and so it may be possible to top up one card using the other
Transfer the balance to paypal; this might be possible and allow you to consolidate it all into one place
As mentioned, individual purchases give you credit towards the final book. This will probably be the best bet; if you use the $10 card to purchase five $1.99 options, the book will be able to purchase the rest of the book using the $25 card
While the above suggestions are pretty good, you may not be able to get some to work. Others are less efficient than ideal (using the $10 card to buy suboptions will lose 3 cents...not much, but not optimal). The most sure way is to sell the card. I wouldn't mind in theory, but im very wary of Internet transactions with people I don't know, so no offence but I'm not really.an option. However, if you were a personal friend or family I would, so ask yours (just make sure it's not one of the ones who gave them to you). They will have uses for it, and you can then just buy it straight off with no further fuss. If you can't consolidate them or PayPal won't work for you for any reason, that would be my suggestion. Buying options is viable, but I'm not a fan of wasting money, even if it's a tiny amount ;)

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
The easiest thing to do is make your DDB purchases with an actual Credit Card (so the bank is a buffer between your money and hackers), and then use your prepaid debt cards to make in-person purchases.

I do have a card for myself but I was just asking if I could just put both the cards in here, thanks for the help and clarification.

Thank you, the suggestion to buy a few things from the book first with one card then buy it in full with another is the solution I was looking for.
Very glad to help :D
