This is a tread to show what you love about dnd beyond. I am hoping the devs can see our support and continue making more.
First, I love the interactive character sheets. So very little bugs, I haven’t found any! I love it! I also love the homebrew creators, as I love to make homebrew!
I love the character builder, the monster/spell/item lists with filters, and the combat tracker. I also appreciate all the links in the “books”. Oh, and the dice are nice, too.
I love the structure the content builder imposes on homebrewing as it helps me focus, and I love the friends I’ve made in these forums.
And I love that I can carry a fairly substantial library around in my pocket and share it with my friends 24/7 without ever actually having to loan any books out.
PS- And I love helping people with their homebrews too.
Have all my content available here. I have repurchased a few physical books here b/c I want to be able to seemlessly copy & paste information into my DM notebook. I know many people are pining for a physical & digital/offline version of content, and I understand where they're coming from. But I appreciate the usefulness of this tool!
I love the easy & quick character creation tool thingy (whatever you call it).
I believe the official name is the "Easy & Quick Character Creation Tool Thingy". Which really is easy and quick when you don't need much, I've used the random one to quick-build npcs before when the party did what D&D parties do.
I like that I can buy the content I want a la carte, which is especially useful for content sharing with the subscription (which, admittedly, hardly seems worth being split into two tiers). It makes character creation and maintenance all the faster, even if it does mean that I would struggle to manually create a character without frequently going over the PHB to be sure of what I can and can't be/have/do.
My only real complaints are eye strain from it being digital (that's not exclusive to DDB by any means), the app being tricky to navigate at times, and the lack of a class homebrew page but that's understandably a larger undertaking than is worth.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Zero is the most important number in D&D: Session Zero sets the boundaries and the tone; Rule Zero dictates the Dungeon Master (DM) is the final arbiter; and Zero D&D is better than Bad D&D.

Keep up the good work, Site Devs!

I appreciate being able to create custom items, give them to my players, and share them with the community.
The interactive character sheets are a real boon to game play. The mouseover features are excellent, so no need to look up stuff constantly in books.
BONUS! I get to interact with the oh so pleasant panoply of characters on the forums =)
For those that hate it, maybe you should not be here.

I love that it makes character management relatively easy for the most part.

I love that it helped me get back into D&D after I'd long since forgotten how much I love it.
I love that it helped me stay sane and connected through the pandemic.
I love that it helps millions of people do something that makes them happy.

BoringBard's long and tedious posts somehow manage to enrapture audiences. How? Because he used Charm Person, the #1 bard spell!
