Is there any way to export my characters from Roll20 back to D&D Beyond, i would like to move away from Roll20 and start using a different VTT, even possible AboveVTT, but i would love to also keep using the characters we already have in Roll20.
I can build a level 16 character from scratch on Roll20 in less than 30 minutes. If it "literally takes hours" on D&D Beyond, that indicates a serious need for a revamp. Does character building go faster when you're not searching for a thread that's over a year old to respond to?

Are the characters really that complicated that you can't manually recreate them in dndbeyond?
Yes... very much so. A level 16 character has so many buffs and feats and magic items it literally takes hours.
