what exactly do you mean by "notes into the "Extras" tab"? What was the exact thing you wanted to do? There is already a way to add notes to the creatures in there, like for spells, actions, items, etc. via the Customize option.
Greetings Orbytale,
An example... I'd like to add a note about my living shadow (a reminder for myself) as I am cursed with a Dark Gift and want an easy location to reference some basic notes, etc.
Dark Gifts cannot be added to a character in DDB yet, so a place to put some info like that is helpful.
I am sorry. I still don't really understand what you're talking about. Do you want your Living Shadow as a Monster Stat Block in your Extras Tab? That should be possible by creating a Homebrew Monster, with all the notes you need.

Because it's a fun idea and was relatively easy to implement: The newest version 0.3.3 (found on GitHub) now has the functionality to add the same styling to the encounter fields as can be found for monster stat blocks.
Just add !vanilla and a line break to the notes, like this:

After typing in your formatted text, be sure to click from Description then back to Notes to ensure the extension activates!
Exactly: Thank you PocketWangler.
I'm currently working on a way to not have to switch the tabs, in order to display the proper formatted text. For version 1.0 it will definitely be more intuitive and working out-of-the-box

Any way to get this to apply to the sidebar for things such as Custom Skills:
Good point. Looks like an easy thing to implement. Will bring it into the next version.
Thank you, Mairondil, for the suggestion :)

I absolutely love this! But I can't get it to work. I'm on FireFox and tried using the browser extension and downloading the Github file. I also disabled my adblocker just to check. Is it possible you could maybe record a video step by step tutorial? I'm wondering if I'm missing something and I wanna be able to use this!! ;;o;;

The extension now allows me to add images to my notes. This helps me when I am visualizing the encounters and also helps inspire me.
What is the markdown language?commands for a text box ie. read aloud to the players....
Since the extension uses Showdown JS, you can find the syntax here: https://github.com/showdownjs/showdown/wiki/Showdown's-Markdown-syntax

I know that DDB has made some changes to the code base recently that broke other extensions, I wonder if that is the issue here.
Amazing stuff! Love to see such awesome community projects being worked on.
Thank you for making this and publishing it for us to use!
