Yes, thank you for the correction and listening to the feedback.
Considering that the precedent was already set with Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse and the Legacy content that it pushed to the side, I have to wonder who made the genius idea *not* to use that precedent. But what matters now is that it will be followed now, and we can still use the content we paid to access.
Thank you.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
One thought going around was that WotC felt players would so prefer the 2024 spells that we wouldn't mind the absence of the 2014 versions. Which may be true for a lot of players, but I think most players vastly prefer the choice of which set to use over any "obvious" superiority of the new ones. I hope WotC keeps this in mind for future changes. Even if these changes are almost-universally acclaimed, players still want to switch over on their own schedule.

Very true. I like the changes to the healing spells. Always thought Healing word needed a boost, but my thinking is that if I started a campaign with a certain set of tools, such as the 2014 spells, then I should continue to use them, if only for the sanity of my DM! A campaign that was crafted using a certain set of rules should have the choice of continuing to use that ruleset and tools without being forced to either change platforms or change to the newest set coming out. I'm willing to wait to use the newest set until I've finished the campaign using the older set.
Still on the fence about if I'll keep my subscription as it is. That will be determined by how DDB/Hasbro/WotC handles the upcoming launch and changes to the current system. Have my most important character sheet pdfs backed up to my computer just in case...
Thank YOU all for making your voices heard and giving us that feedback.

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
I would like to remind everyone that our community managers, mods, staff gave us timely communication via the changelog and forums, so we are able to voice our concerns in time. Not only did they did that, they also managed to relay our concerns effectively to the decision makers so they listened and changed their minds. I appreciate and am thankful for the hardwork Beyond's employees put in. All the managers, mods, and staff have definitely earned and deserve more compensation, and I sincerely wish that they stay with us as long as possible for both the health of our D&D community and for the long term success of the company. We as customers and the company simply cannot lose them.
I am still disappointed in Beyond and Wizards, and I have said in another post that good communication is rare from Beyond. However, I am deeply impressed with Beyond's employees, and they are slowly, but surely, turning communication around and improving it.
I am not panicky and paranoid about losing content anymore, so thank you.
Hopefully that listening is something that continues. It's something I'm more optimistic about than I have been in the past - for example, LaTiaJacquise is a lot more visible and around than staff have been for a while.
If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.

mad props to LaTiaJaquise these past few months, she has never shied away from the community and always gone to bat for us.
