So I know some subclasses are purchasable, but is the gunslinger class from critical role as a whole purchasable as well, or is it just not implemented yet? Just curious.
Gunslinger is a fighter subclass and it is free. You do need to have the "critical role" slider turned on in the character builder to access it. (In the class listings it can be hard to find. Try using the "search everything" box
It's not your mistake. D&D Beyond do not have Gunslinger showing under Fighter, or any other menu or page. The only possible way to know it is available is if you make a 3rd level fighter and see (with critical role content switch turned on) or be given the link directly like Stormknight did.
D&D Beyond refuse to make it easily known or accessible and blame WotC. Which is not correct - WotC just do not want anything implying 3rd party content as official and D&D Beyond can easily achieve this by just having a separate menu for it and a header to detail it is not official. They have known about this option for a very long time and claim it might be considered as part of a possible menu overhaul at some unspecified potential point in the future.
It is not your mistake, it's D&D Beyond's fault. They don't even make a stickied post in the Fighter forum or anything. (*glares at the mods*)
But now you have the link, I recommend bookmarking it.

There's a fairly comprehensive update coming for the menu system. The sheer number of items available on some of the menus has made the current system unwieldy and difficult to add further options without decreasing usability further. Hopefully there will be a sensible way to add content like the gunslinger to the menu, once that development has been completed.

Don't feed the Mods if you start feeding them they will lose their fear of us and expect us to feed them, this results in Mod attacks when a forum user doesn't have food to give then. oh wait that's bears nevermind I just get them confused at times.

It's a subclass of the fighter class.

Ah, ok, sorry for my mistake.
No problems - there are a lot of classes and subclasses (and other rules) - it's always ok to ask. :)

Good idea, thank you for asking us to implement that - there's now a sticky thread in the Fighter subforum.
