What does hod mean?
Can you give us some context? Is it a word, a name, an acronym? What's the sentence it's being used in?
That will help us answer.
Hold on dude(s)?
Hands on deck?
Czech for throw?
A builder's V-shaped open trough on a pole, used for carrying bricks and other building materials?
Hod (Hebrew הוד howd "majesty, splendour, glory") is the eighth sephira of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life?
Hand on *omitted*, used to describe zoning out at computer, similar to AFK?
A name?
That's all the definitions I could find or think of.
Also Höðr, sometimes known as blind Hod - the Norse god who mistakenly slew Baldr.

I'm, like, 99% certain.
Well given that context:
This is most likely the answer.
