A function that I think would be desirable for a DM using the D&D Beyond app that hasn't been discussed or considered that I really think would help many DMs, is the ability to link D&D Beyond accounts into groups so that a DM has access to each player's digital character sheets from their own device. Potentially a way to do this is a group function where users on D&D Beyond can make private groups that allow them to give access to their own characters in such a way that players can view (and perhaps make changes) to characters stats and sheets. As a DM I would find this particularly useful when I need to quickly check multiple characters passive perception or something of equal importance, without strictly giving the players a heads up. I know the scope of something like this may be unreasonable to implement if it hasn't been considered already but I would love to hear some peoples thoughts on linked accounts and information sharing across devices through different/multiple D&D Beyond accounts.

I too would really want this feature. Though as much as my mind goes to happy images of me being able to see all of my player's character sheets and track their available spell slots and components and their HP and see their AC and temporary effects on them and such, I find it unlikely that all my players will use it. 2 of them still use paper character sheets, 2 uses existing apps but probably wouldn't be interested in paying a sub fee for this one when there are free ones out there (illegal though they may be) and the last one I think uses some kind of spreadsheet on their computer, or maybe one of the apps, I'm not sure.
As a DM allow players to join a group/campaign it would be great for them to have access to thesheets of the characters who join. Else, they're using another program/system (ie PC Gen). Having it all in one place makes D&d Beyond more attractive.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the original question from 2017, but this is a function of DnD Beyond. I can access the character sheets of my players. Heck, I can even edit them if I'm so desired.

This 100% is already a function of the DM Campaign Management tool. It has been so since basically the beginning.

That sounds like the sort of thing that would be absolutely integral to proper campaign management in Phase 3. ;)

He mentions about DM's being able to have slots that other accounts can use to access subscribed content and such.

Fantastic idea and hopefully something that will be taken on board for the release if it isn't already in the works.
I haven't run a game yet and I think that would be awesome!!!!
