Would it be possible to get descriptions on each of these tasks so that we know what they entail? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I don't know what features will be implemented with "Monster Builder", for example.
More details/ descriptions will be added over time, yes. You'll see less and less detail the further right you get, but we'll add more as we have bandwidth.
@ BadEye good job and thank you for this information as it is handy to know where you guys are in this massive job that you folks are creating for this game. Also remember this is the internet and no matter how good you guys do your gonna piss someone off as it isn't good enough you guys are awesome and I got your backs anyway I can.
Is there a place to sign up for a beta of the mobile character sheet or will users be selected randomly?
Thanks for posting this road map! It's helped my table get excited about using dndbeyond instead of using the other tools they're currently working with.
Very excited for the Encounter Builder and DM Screen.
The thing I'm most excited about though is the combat/initiative tracker. I'm using Improved Initiative right now and it has enhanced my games' flow by a lot, but I think a combat tracker that integrates my players' characters from DNDBEYOND in a dynamic way would make this platform even more of a no-brainer for serious DMs. Hope it's not too long until you guys can start working on it.

I know most groups use standard initiative, but I really hope there are settings for initiative variants as suggested in the DMG, such as Speed factor and the way my table plays of rerolling initiative after every round and natural 20's jump to the top and natural 1's fall to the bottom.
My OCD is bothering me.. lol.. Shouldn't the "Mobile Beta - Character Sheet" be categorized with the green "In Progress" label? since you moved it to "In Progress (Currently in Development)"
All in all, I'm super thankful for the hard work you guys have done for the D&D community.. I can't wait to see what's down the pipeline for D&D Beyond.. Thanks for these awesome tools (and for providing the roadmap that I can obsessively monitor all the time now).. haha

Quite the attention to detail - maybe I should hire you.

I've been pointing out hundreds of minor flaws throughout the entire site since its inception and yet I have never been offered employment :(

Hell, I threw down a [quite nice, in my opinion] résumé and couldn't get a gig....

I hope you guys knock it out of the park with the virtual tabletop. Roll20 has been good to my group, but I love the aesthetic for this site, and the character creator/sheet on ddb is far more pleasant to use during actual play.

Also, all my content is already here and the connectivity is great. I would love just a convenient place to have a map and tokens at the moment.
if you're part of a dm's campaign, do they have access to your character? like can they open up your character screen and change ability scores or add or take things out of your inventory?

They can up to a point. I have a problem with this, actually, as some of the characters in my campaigns are completely open to me and some are blocked when I go to the builder.

Thanks BadEye, this trello toolkit looks great, transparancy is always welcome. Love this development!
About the earlier discussion: To be fair open source functionality is a great feature!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop! It's nice to know what's coming, and you're far from obligated to tell us of your plans. (:
