The problem I have is that tooltips won't show up on a piece of homebrewed equipment that a character has. For example, I homebrewed Ras Nsi's spellbook from ToA to give to the wizard in my campaign, but the tooltips don't pop up in the description (they are just plain text) when you click on the equipment in the character sheet. Going to the details page in my homebrew collection has the proper tooltip "links", but not within the character sheet. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is there just no functionality for this?
are you aware if it is possible to link a homebrew item?
Around here, when people say “link” they typically mean a hyperlink like this: Scepter of Sorcery, +1, in which case, yes it is “linkable.”
Things like this: Rod of the Pact Keeper, +1, are called Tooltips. We currently cannot tooltip a homebrewed item. You can learn more about tooltips here:
yes, thank you, but when i link a homebrew item to another through hyperlink, it will not allow me to post it, due to it being an external link. are you aware how it is possible to get it to recognise it as a dndbeyond link and allow me to publish it?

You cannot. The only “internal links” are the tooltips.
Did not mean the Exhaustion condition. I meant the part about linking to rules, such as extreme weather. So basically none of the things that was already listed. I know that I can make an external link to another webpage. But I made an item that I wanted to link to extreme heat environment in the dmg.

Ahh.... You can always use the same method as creating an external link, but you won’t be able to publish the item. It is technically possible to do them as “internal links” like they did, but tricky to explain how to do. And I don’t know how to do it while changing the txt, only with the actual unchanged URL.

Is there one for Rage?

Reality is more amazing than we are often led to believe.

I know this was a while ago, but is there a way to make something plural link writing "wolves" but linking to wolf?
Still looking for a response to this.
Exhaustion is a [condition]. These special internal links are called tooltips. You can learn all about tooltips by following this link:

Just like the Clothing, cold weather has.

No. This thread tells what tooltips are available: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/9811-how-to-add-tooltips
Helpful rewriter of Japanese->English translation and delver into software codebases (she/e/they)
The bracket code for "rule" works in homebrew items.
Sorry, I just saw this. If anyone is still wondering, but yes. [_monster]wolf;wolves[_/monster] without the underscores becomes wolves.
