You want [spell]replace this text between tags with an actual spell name[\spell] but replace the back slash with a forward slash. The spell name has to be an official spell, not homebrew.

In case someone is still wondering, to link to the 2024 spells, use the plural within the [ ][/ ] bracket system: spells - Slow. This also works with items - Torch, magicItems - Bag of Holding, and monsters - Zombie.

I'm not sure why that message is displaying "backslash", when I try to edit it, the box shows the correct "forward slash". Must be a glitch.

How would this work for putting in Metamagic Options on an item?
Would putting in a cantrip be [cantrip] *Cantrip [/cantrip]?
It won’t work for class/subclass features, they are not programmed to be tooltippable like that.
No, you would still use [spell], not [cantrip].

Nice, wprop works for masteries too.
How to do this with the new spells? Because if I want to use the Inflict Wounds spell from 2024 in a homebrew weapon, it links the 2014 spell.

What if you want to link something like STR or DEX instead of the skills they are linked to?
Ive tried:
[ability]Charisma[/ability]
[ability]CHA[/ability]
[Tooltip Not Found]
[rule]Ability Scores[rule], but with the forward slash.
Ability Scores
