Krodhen approves of Yulmiath's approach to quickly putting the beasts down and, fighting through some pain of his own, swings at the second dimetrodon now that the first has been killed. Once again, the slash is well placed but not enough to bring the creature down. (DImetrodon#2 takes 10 slashing damage.)
Now hurt and alone, even this thick-skulled creature recognizes that its chances are dim. The party notices its stance move to a less aggressive one.
(Rhogal is up next. The remaining reptile in at {O10}. It is also under the influence of Faerie Fire and Bane.)
Already in the middle of a transition from fight to flight mode, the last conscious dimetrodon is encouraged to leave by Rhogal's actions. The creature promptly turns and dashes away toward the edge of the sandy area, where vegetation begins sprouting inland.
Kairus knows that the group has less than a minute before the third dimetrodon wakes up. During that time, Kwilgok would eventually regain control of Deadly Treasure, although he might have to come to terms with leaving some of the fallen supplies behind should the group prefer to move away from this spot before the last beast wakes back up.
(@MuggsHill: If Krodhen wants to, he can take an opportunity attack against the fleeing reptile.)
(OOC: If anyone prefers to give chase to the fleeing dimetrodon, let me know.)
WE ARE NOW OUT OF INITIATIVE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU WILL.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing that the beast no longer poses a threat, Krodhen holds back from striking out at the creature, content that it has seen fit to flee rather than fight.
"Let's be away before the other wakes...." and then to the guide he says "We will gather what we can, but get control of the beast and lead us around another way"
As the seconds pass, Krodhen will try to pick up any wares that he can, taking direction from Kwilgok to focus on any the he and Yul can grab
Athletics check(?): 17 as he attempts to grab what he can.

Hun had largely kept busy helping as he could with deadly treasure. And by helping, that usually meant making sure Kwilgok had a steady supply of the good feels until the beast was in order. At Krodhen's suggestion however, Hun stopped to look at Yulmarith instead and simply said, "Why run? Just kill in sleep. Save on rations, and make for good food. Maybe even trade bits in town, yea?" He suggests, and then would look to Kwilgok for further affirmation.
However, regardless of what the tortle passes along, it is Yul in the end who Hun at least seems to take his marching orders from, and even spare some room in the mysterious satchel at his side for gathering of things.

Yulmiath cocks his head at Hun's suggestion. If the beasts are worth money, he could be persuaded to put the other down as cleanly as possible. Refilling his own coffers would likely be his best bet if he wanted to pursue leaving this rock Calling over to Kwilgok, he looks for confirmation, "Is the little one right? Would the carcass of the beasts be worth something in town?"
Kairus came closer. "Whatever you decide, do it fast - the creature will wake up soon. But I would leave it alone. The proper butchering of one body will take hours, with two we would have to stay on the beach until morning. Maybe just point the location to the natives?"He yawned. "I'd rather get to the village already."
Their victory assured, the group discusses next steps. Krodhen suggests that they leave in a hurry in order to avoid an unnecessary fight against the third dimetrodon but Hun prefers gifting it a quick death, which could then result in further supplies. Yulmiath sees merit in the kobold's idea, while Kairus tries to take into account the practical requirements for accomplishing such a task. Once Deadly Treasure is calmed down with Hun's help, the tortle guide voices his take on the matter: "Ahoyhoy enjoys a good trade, but this may be too large a prize. When hunting, we tortles mostly pursue small game. Something as large as this dimetrodon would be a welcomed novelty, but don't expect to get a high coin value or a skewed barter for it. The village lives according to its means."
Most group members begin helping Kwilgok gathering supplies. Some are placed on Deadly Treasure's back, other will have to be carried by hand. All the while, Rhogal pays some attention to the half-orc, who had not shied away from using more forceful language with the group's guide. While they collect goods, Kairus mentions again the impracticalities of chopping up the prize. Kwilgok pitches in: "... and I doubt Deadly Treasure will agree to carry the beast whole." The bard suggests simply pointing to the carcass' location upon arrival and Kwilgok adds a comment there too: "That could work, so long as they are the first ones to claim it."
At some point the group notices that the third dimetrodon has wakened and moved underwater. In its newfound loneliness, the reptile does not feel courageous enough to attack the group. Some time after that, Kwilgok indicates that he and his beast are ready to go and points to a detour that would take the group closer to the edge of the tree line but away from the water pools. The only pending decision is what to do with the carcass.
"Mn. Fine."Hun said, grudgingly accepting the wisdom of others after having watched the one slip back under the water anyhow. And while tempted to go over and at least snag a few parts to use for later, knowing the sleeping one might be tempted to snatch him if he got too close, the kobold immediately shook his head at the thought.
"Lets get on with it then. Sooner we can get back on the move, the sooner we can see to other stuff on the proverbial table!"He affirms, but would then glance up at Yulmarith and asks curiously, "Right, Mr. Yully?"

Mr Yully nods his head in agreement with the little kobold, he'll have to find some other means to put some more coin in his pocket. Now that the decision is made, he double times it to make sure the group can leave the area before the sleeping Dimetrodon wakes or the one that been chased off returns.
Athletics - 18 - Assuming this might be useful for either beating feet away from the area or helping with any bulky pieces of cargo from Deadly Treasure.
"Smart lizard-thingy," approved Kairus dimetrodon's behaviour. "Do hope the table there is not just proverbial."He looked at all the meat they were leaving behind. "Getting kind of hungry. Hope turtles will be fast with retrieving the meat and cooking it. Shall we?" He did not play his instrument as they walked to the village, but hummed a merry tune. Just to help to keep pacing.
As Hun and Yulmiath let their original idea for the carcass go, the group decides to keep moving. Krodhen and Yulmiath grab a broken crate each, which would otherwise be hard to tie back up to Deadly Treasure due to their state.
Under the warm but descending sun and the sound of Kairus' humming, the group advances throgh the sand. They walk closer to the vegetation now, which offers its own dangers, but the walk goes by peacefully enough. About an hour before sunset, the group approaches Ahoyhoy. Kwilgok clarifies that the group is about to reach the settlement's north gate. A multitiered fort stands at the water’s edge, its sturdy stone walls adorned with large tortoise shells. The trail leading to the fort ends at a wooden double door. Two guards are posted, one on each of the ramparts to each side of the gate. As the group may have expected, they look like overgrown, bipedal turtles armed with crossbows. The tortles stand guard from some unseen platform 10 of 15 feet above ground level. They do not point the crossbows at the group.
Kwilgok speaks for the group first: "Ahoy! I'm Kwilgok from Port Nyanzaru, a dinosaur racer and jungle guide. It has been many years since I have visited Ahoyhoy. I bring a friend and some acquaintances we met on the way. They seem willing to trade."
The guards seem receptive to the introduction but are clearly waiting for others to pitch in before doing anything else.
Kairus stepped forward and elegantly bowed. "The winds and the stars guided us here."(It was mainly storm, curiosity and Kwilgok, but turtles should not be bothered with such boring technicalities) "We came with goodwill and a gift, we offer the fresh game not far from here - a freshly killed dinosaur." (Kairus sincerely hoped turtles did not consider those animals a tabu for whatever strange dry-landers reason.) "If the word of the legendary hospitality of the turtle-folk is true," (some flattery never killed no one) "we hope to experience it ourselves and will be happy to tell about the world outside, should our hosts be curious."He bowed again.
Looking up, Krodhen studies the guards and then, setting the crate down and standing a little straighter "Well met, I am Krodhen. Kwilgok speaks true, we are travellers willing to trade or work, and seek leave to enter. We have but little to offer currently beyond a carcass of a dimetrodon that attacked us earlier this day, but would be willing to barter it's location if such a thing is of worth to any in Ahoyhoy."
OOC: Strike Krodhen's post, must have crossed over responses - previous post was not there when I was typing
"Indeed" nodding in agreement to Kairus's words "Well met, I am Krodhen, may we enter?"
Hun was very much in the camp of letting the others do the talking and introducing of the group. For the moment. As much he would like to immediately ask about a whereabouts of another certain storyteller, there would be time later for that. And why risk ruining tempers from having stumbled upon a sore subject... not that he believed the great and wise and well traveled Volo would have done as much. But still...
In any case, while awaiting for responses, Hun kept an eye on Mr. Yully curious to gauge the dragonborn's view of the situation. It couldn't have felt good having to give up a hunt, even if Yully cared more for coin than meat and trophies.
(Ah! True, I read it as "anything involving Enchantment school and Cha saves" :) Ok, it is not that terribly OP item)

-> Kwilgok's animal handling check: 5
Hubris, the tortle decides as he fails to hold on to the ropes and even more supplies fall to ground.
-> Kwilgok's DEX saving throw {DC 10}: 20
Some debris fly toward Kwilgok but the tortle avoids them successfully.
