I'm looking to run a mid lvl dungeon crawl one shot set in the forgotten realms
I am looking for 5 lvl 9 players

Name:
Race: (Any official)
Class/subclass: (Any official)
Very brief backstory: (No need to know you were left at an orphanage or you watched both parents die. Just who you are and maybe a few things you've done)
All Tasha's rules are in play. Be be able to post here on dndbeyond forum at least every few days (it is the holidays after all)
Very brief backstory: Rogi comes from a long and famous line of dwarven warriors who developed a special style of battle which fused centuries of tactical knowledge with the rage borne of seeing loved ones fall in battle. Though many dwarves frown upon their style, calling it undisciplined, they consider it an improvement over both the battleragers' and the typical fighters'. They are even less inclined to leave the clan, since the whole point is to defend it, but Rogi decided it was worth the risk to leave for a little while, and perhaps come back wiser.

Name: Oswald Denzig
Race: Half-Elf
Class/Subclass: Paladin 2/ Warlock 7
Brief backstory: Oswald is known to be an excellent archer and takes pride in his marksmanship. He is planning to take an oath of conquest when the right moment presents itself but he has been sidetracked in this quest to take an oath by the death of a friend. In order to find the killers he has become involved with a mysterious entity from the shadowfell and his skills as a marksman gained the patronage of this mysterious entity. He will someday remember his holy roots but the search for a killer has interrupted this quest. The mysterious entity gave him the ability to disguise himself at will and he uses this to great advantage (Mask of many faces) when appropriate opportunities arrise.

Ability scores: 161713131714
Ability scores: 161115131513
Name: Victor Crestheart
Race: Human
Class/Subclass: Bard/College of Lore
Very brief backstory: Victor may have come from noble blood but he doesn't let that fact go to his head. When he wasn't sneaking out of the small town to meet up with some 'friends' of his, he was usually at the local Inn or tavern either playing cards with locals and the occasional stranger or playing music/telling stories that seemed impossible even though most of them were true with a few minor additions to make it sound more interesting. One night while he was walking back home from a performance at the Inn he was stopped by a mysterious gentleman who wanted to know if he would like to come with him and a few of his friends on a 'little' adventure that they were planning. The thought of properly getting away from the town he'd called home and actually being able to go on an adventure just like the one's his father would tell him about when he was just a boy, gave him a reason to say yes but for a moment he hesitated before finally agreeing to join them. Halfway through the adventure Victor received some rather nasty wounds after one of the group turned on the rest and attempted to kill the others so they could keep the treasure for themselves. After they were taken care of the remainder of the group helped Victor to the nearest town in the hopes that one of it's inhabitants might be able to help him. After having dropped him off at a small inn in the town the rest of the party left, while he recovered from his injuries he helped out in the kitchen and occasionally behind the bar at the inn to keep himself from worrying about the others even though he had a feeling that they wouldn't be coming back.
Name: Golwing "Saethu" Devin Race: Human (Mark of Passage) Class: Rogue 3 / Sorcerer 6 (Thief/Divine Soul) Brief Backstory: Golwing was enlisted to be a field medic in an army chapter which fought smaller skirmishes in forrests, towns and such to protect againt bandits, goblins and others of the "evil" kind. Him being a devout follower of Illmater would be blessed by his deity to protect his comrades. He did his task very well and would then be drafted into an elite group of the city guard, with a very similar task. Protect civilisation where ever neccessairy, be it market places, alleyways or dark dungeons.
Golwing is intended to be a support type character. He is very movement/healing oriented while trying to not ignore the blaster capabilities of the sorcerer.
Name: Kelric Arnuanna Race: Elf - Eladrin Class: Ranger 5 / Fighter 4 Brief Backstory: Kelric was born with a strong sense of wanderlust, never happy to stay in one place for very long, much to the chagrin of his teachers and family members. He would much prefer exploring nearby caves and crypts. When he finally reached adulthood he snuck out late one evening with his trusty bow and has never looked back. He continues to travel the world, experiencing as much from new cultures as possible, trying to absorb all the legends and fables from the people he meets and explore the lands held within the stories.
Name: Melek Race: Harengon Class: Rogue (Soul Knife) Brief Backstory: Traveller from the Fey Wild looking for relics and interesting items to take back. Is always looking out for interesting opportunities, keeping an ear out for rumours of tombs or lost cities.
NAME: Whistler RACE: Variant Human CLASS/SUBCLASS: Fighter 9 (Psi Warrior) BACKSTORY: An older former bounty hunter, looking for one last shot at glory & fortune via adventuring
@AndrewFairall - you're a great DM so even with that minimalist description of what lies ahead, I'd love to be part of it.
Set1: Ability scores: 16101081015
Set2: Ability scores: 121511131514
Will see what I get from the above and come back with a character.
Name: Anvil
Race: Warforged
Class/subclass: Cleric - Forge Domain
Very brief backstory: Anvil awoke in a cave system, the signs of a long finished battle littered around him, and a voice in his head telling him to prepare the way for the for the Becoming God. He has never questioned why there's a voice in his head, and he proceeds about his day with almost clockwork precision and routine. He has acted as an inquisitor of the Becoming God, searching for the 'first forge' while passing judgement on created (especially forged) items and destroying those of poor quality. The more he searches and judges, the greater his power has become.
Weapons/Armor: Went with a adamantine plate armor and a +1 weapon for the two uncommon items
Not often you get to jump into a game already at Teir 2...I will roll something up.

Alright. Wanted to do an Elven Accuracy Archery build and took a while to figure out how I wanted to implement it. Decided on Fighter (Eldritch Knight 9) with Faerie Fire and Hold Person to generate advantage. Here is the character sheet: https://ddb.ac/characters/62982400/dhtp0T
Name: Sul Seabhac
Race: High Elf
Class/subclass: Fighter (EK) 9
Very brief backstory: Born the 3rd child of a middling noble house in the Elven Courts, Sul set himself apart an an excellent marksman even for an elf. Initially he was sent to be an emissary to the dwarves, but found the cave dwellers to be a bit borish. The feeling was mutual. So he abandoned the posting, knowing the courts would send someone else to fill it, and struck out on his own...freelancing as an adventurer, caravan guard, and oft while townsguard.
Weapons/Armor: Picked up Studded Leather, and Arcane Focus (common), Winged Boots, Bracers of Archery, and a +2 Longbow
Very brief backstory: Sulfas is not stupid but simple dragonborn, born to noamdic clan, he splintered off on his own, seeking his way in the world, smashing everything that tried to stop him as he earn his coin and fight to move forward.
Weapons/Armor: +1 Great Axe, Periapt of Wound Closure
Kirin - Level 15 High Elf Wizard (Evocation) - Zorg's Lost Souls - Overchannel Steel Wind Strike for the Win against Demogorgon Silas - Level 11 Human Cleric (War Domain) - Tomb of Annihilation Done
Very Brief Backstory: An outsider, always. Livilias tried not to let it get to him but, of course, it did. As much as he tries to use his skills and prowess for good there is inevitably that shadow upon his soul, that pettiness in his heart, that thirst for payback that overwhelms him like a fever when he feels slighted or spurned.
Perhaps it is these character flaws which has led Livilias to several areas of study, or perhaps it is his desire for power and learning so that he can further his goals. Whichever the case, when it comes to conflict Livilias prefers to go unnoticed and will often use his familiar to dish out magical strikes while Livilias himself sits unnoticed in the crowd. More than a few have mysteriously come down with illness or death with no apparent cause... Some perhaps deservedly so, others not so much.
Livilias travels a lot. Being the outsider, he finds his welcome is often worn out sooner rather than later. He truly does do his best to leave places better than he found them... But alas, there is often a body count.
((I wouldn't plan on being evil or such... but the character is a bit petty and does not take slights well. This could lead to some NPCs getting ill or struck down unexpectedly but Livilias if generally unconnectable to these events...))
This looks like fun! And I’d love to in another campaign with Thoradin_Orcbender if possible!

Sorry, changed my choice of scores and it didn’t like that.
Name: Gaetana Forestgleam
Race: Human
Class: Ranger
Brief backstory: Been a bounty hunter for as long as she can remember. She has gotten good at her craft, actually so good, she can only stay in a city for about half a year then has to move on as she makes a name for herself. Hard to catch those criminals when they know who to look for. Has a bit of a temper - part of the reason she gets known as her charges don’t always end up alive when she brings them in. Looking for something new now, needing a bit of a change. But not too much, as the hunt drives her.
For my 2 green items: Cloak of Protection & Mithral Halfplate
Thoradin was great in my game, I wish I had been able to keep it going at the time. Definitely recommended.

Name: Grunomar
Race: Half Orc
Class/subclass: Rogue/Phantom
Very brief backstory: Gruno lives his life appearing to be worry and carefree while inside harboring feelings of guilt and regret over the half-elven brother that died by his unwilling heart and forced hands. Being possessed by a ghost changed him though, allowing him to get glimpses of departing souls on death and worst of all, his brother's ghostly image follows him around wherever he goes. Sometimes with damning eyes, sometimes with forgiveness, he never knows what to expect. Since that day he has dedicated his life to being the best at what he does, so that next time, maybe he will succeed where previously he failed. He lives life carefree and to the fullest he can imagine, knowing that tomorrow could be his last.
Backstory: After years of service in the army as a representitive of the Bow and Blade monastary, Kurth was honourably released from duty and now must find elsewhere to use his skills. Adventuring and seeing parts of the world he had yet witnessed is the path he chooses.
