Eons ago, a mighty wizard brought a magical dragon into existence, one that could grant anybody it deemed worthy three wishes. This wizard created his own nation off of the prosperity of the travelers who came to visit him in the far country. Now, the year is 1600, the turn of the new century. The once prosperous and mighty nation of Igadal has fallen into despair at the hands of a group of mighty elemental warriors, overturning the reigning wizard who brought this dragon into existence and banishing the creature into a collection of fifteen mystical orbs containing fractions of the dragon's true power. The kingdom is fading, as the combination of the wizard and the dragon's magic is growing distant and weaker.
Just a thing I ran with my friends a while back, and I thought I could do it here on DnD Beyond! Adventurers will start at level 3.

My mental age is currently that of a 67 year old's but I am much wiser, for the experiences I have been through. When I was created, I went through nightmarish anguish being created from other's minds. This included their pain. I was brought into this world on the brink of insanity. The wizard brought me out of this, teaching me the workings of nature. About 3 months ago, a group of elementals attacked the wizard, wishing to steal his monocle. The monocle was broken in the process of our escape, and the wizard died of blood-loss soon after. I now wander the land, searching for the dragon's orbs to wish for 2 things. One, to bring back the wizard as he was before the fight with the elementals. And two, to eliminate all elementals from this plane. As for the third, I will find the answer to on my journey. Ability Scores [Standard Array/Rolled]: Ability scores: 141415171514 Character Name: Jhimas Pumanath Race: Triton Class: Genie Warlock Background: Faceless Backstory [As long or as little as you want]: Jhimas found an elven journal while on a salvage mission of a nearby shipwreck. The contents spoke of the wonders of the world above. Extensive reading convinced Jhimas that he was some heroic character out of the stories. Not that there weren't plenty of wonders of the deep but his curiosity got the better of him and he decided to set out on a grand adventure to travel to the surface world and experience some of these wonders for himself.
On his journeys he found himself in dire danger of losing his life. A Noble Marid Genie took pity on his predicament and offered Jhimas a Pact to escape certain doom. Jhimas, believing he was a hero of legend accepted and made his way to the surface where he guessed he might need a little extra aid on his endeavours so he spent the last of his gold to summon a Crab familiar which he named Eugene. Xilbella has always had a relationship with those recently departed. She can call on the skills and knowledge of the dead, and use them as her own. This has left her a bit of an outcast by those around her, and some of the knowledge imparted is things she wishes she could have never known.
Ability scores: Standard Array Character Name: Larissa Race: Human Class: Shadow Sorcerer Background: Acolyte Backstory: As a young child, Larissa's parents were killed by a monster that attacked her town. During the attack, her mom had tried to go with Larissa to the temple to escape the monster. Whilst Larissa managed to escape into the temple, her mother was slower and was caught. The temple, a temple of Shar the goddess of darkness and loss, protected the inhabitants from the monster and it eventually left.
As an orphan, Larissa grew up in service to the temple. She was taught the temple's sacred rites, and teachings. But little did she know that she is the mortal reincarnation of a darkweaver from the Shadowplane. After a couple of years, her dark powers began to manifest. The temple learned of Larissa's gifts and decided that they could be used for their advantage. When she casts her spells, the area around her grows dark and gloomy. Larissa is also always icy cold to the touch.

In the end, she was gifted powers by a deity of the night, that saw in her just the right amount of dedication to a task, even though she still, to this day, doesn't know their name. With abilities well beyond what the other members of her tribe could do, she rose to become a shaman of sorts to them. As a few years passed, her tribe became involved with the nation of Igadal, and a lot of support happened between them, mainly from the side of the stronger, bigger kingdom than the small tribe she lead. When the warriors attacked, the shaman vowed to work in helping their main supporters with all she could, as her tribe's been saved from ruination thanks to them in the past. When it became an issue that said shaman didn't have a name as that was the way of life for the firbolg tribe, she gained a short nickname of Sha, for her profession within the tribe. Out of habit he would pick some stones and just concentrate on his surroundings. This ritual helps center himself and its something he picked up during military service.
