Ice wind dale has become trapped in a perpetual winter. Ferocious blizzards make the mountain pass through the Spine of the World exceedingly treacherous, and this land has not felt the warmth of the sun in over two years. In fact, the sun no longer appears above the mountains, not even in what should be the hheight of summer. In this frozen tundra, darkness and bitter cold reign as king and queen. Most dale residents blame April the Frostmaiden, the god of winters wrath. The shimmering aurora that weaves across the sky each night is said to be her doing-a potent spell that keeps the sun at bay.
Dalefolk live in a scattering of settlements know as Ten-Towns. The drop-off in caravans coming from the south and traveling between the settlements in this never-ending winter has left people feeling isolated. Although each town has resolved to appease the Frostmaiden with sacrifices of one kind or anotherm no respite from winters fury seems forthcoming. For adventurers as yourself, Ten-Towns is a place to test ones mettle and, in the spirit of hero’s who have come before, leave one’s mark on this frigid, blighted land.

I'm playing a half-elf fighter named Kimara Wallia. She is very protective of her friends and tall, and has a drinking problem. She traveled to this town after a friend told her they had the best alchohol there
I will be playing an air genasi ranger named Aura Dyernina. She is extremely naive thanks to an overprotective father and absent Djnn mother. This, combined with her friendly nature and tendency to trust got her in a few tricky situations when left home. Somehow she managed to get out of each one without even realising the depth of the situation. Eventually Aura wandered into this town, looking for anything that may pique her curiosity

Hi All,
I will be playing Bjorn Olafsson Stahle A cleric (Knowledge) of Oghma the Binder. Bjorn was an orphan until he was taken in by a Priest of Oghma and was taught how to read and write. From there his fascination with the knowledge available in the world took off. He Came up here to Icewind Dale to learn about the various stories and myths surrounding the various towns. Did you know that there's a "lake monster" that appeared in Maer Dualdon Lake near Brennan, supposedly? Bjorn hopes to one day return the favor given to him by helping others.
I am good with Brennan (1) or for Good Mead (10), sounds like the best place to find trouble with all the available fight inducing liquid :)

Hey y’all, I’m plying Diah, a fisher just trying to make a living in Bremen. She generally keeps to herself, but recently, a latent magic has awoken inside of her. She’d rather be without it, but she figured it’s best to control it. Big shows of magic in Ten Towns garners more attention than she’d like.

If you could add Aura to this campaign, that would be great!
