ooc - your pardons gentle beings, however reroll 1 once only appears to be not working as intended =( my 18 above should really be a 10
I think your 18 is actually legitimate.
It looks like the roller rolled the first die, got a 1, then rerolled it for a 6. It then rolled the second die, got a 1, and rerolled it for a 2. Then the last two rolls were each 6. 6-2-6-6. Then it dropped the lowest, leaving you with three sixes... 18 total. Nice roll, really.
The adventure is set a short distance from the city of Neverwinter in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms setting. The Sword Coast is part of the North — a vast realm of free settlements surrounded by lawless, untamed wilderness. It is a campaign where the characters are supporting the town of Phandalin as reports of a young white dragon is terrorizing the area, along with Orcs and other creatures. They just finished their fourth quest, so make sure you are fourth level
Backstory: Kayassa was born in the feywild but became the servant of a a more powerful fey being. In order to better be able to serve them, she was given magic in the form of a rapier that was linked to her masters power. Using this magic she has been sent on various quests into the Prime Material.
Nice to cross paths with you again, you have been selected: https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/23629383789648920. Please make sure you are 4th level, you will be joining the party at Falcon's Lodge
We had one new player go "off the reservation" and confused all the players, that caused one new player to leave before the other was ousted by the party
Tom had been a charming fourth son of nobility. His family no longer exists, having disappeared under mysterious circumstances. But Tom still exists. He spent time as the victim of an aboleth's mind dominating powers. He does not recall what sorts of things he'd been made to do during that time. That's all Chaslik's business now. Chaslik was the tough one, he could take it. When the aboleth made him a finger puppet, Chaslik was looking back into the aboleth's mind. He learned a lot. He shares it with Tom bit by bit. It hurts.
Chaslik told Tom that it would be easier if he toughened up a little bit at a time. So he sends him off to fight. Tom does his best.
-----
Tom/Chaslik is a split personality. I know it's cliche or a trope, but it's a classic for a reason, and makes for a fun affect to the Charlatan second identity. Check the sheet, I think he'll fit in nicely with your current group.

I think I jumped the gun and joined the link above. Now I’m seeing specific invites. I apologize and will disengage, unless positively selected.

I might if you're willing

That's... unfortunate. I understand the difficulty though.
My character Gustav is still available for selection.

I'll roll up a new one, if you don't mind, since the first character I made didn't appeal
