How can the knight see tetrevesss to see what’s going on? He’s still in the cloudkill gas cloud right- until the necromancer dismisses it? Also doesn’t the knight need to make a save for the cloudkill..
You're right. The bag explodes and Tetrevess is sucked into the Astral plane.
A 10 cubic ft space around the sack and the sword including tetrevess are pulled through a rift I to the Astral. The sword vsnishes. The sack and its contents are likewise destroyed.
Hey, not for nothing, but if you guys just want to let the thayan knight commander move 5ft to the right so he's not in the cloudkill area, which of course he would, I just didn't spell ot out, because it was his turn and he was fully able to move through the wind wall, so he just does... we could retcon that last bit.
Tetrevess will attempt to find a color pool back to the prime material. As I understand it time is different on the astral plane. As I assume he’s out of combat for the moment- here’s what he’s doing:
upset about the loss of the haversack, he floats around to gather his gear, and any other items that got sucked in with him, and (without touching the sword) gather it as well, tucking it into his bedroll. “Should have figured it was an extra dimensional sword, it certainly looked weird, but I didn’t have a lot of time to study it” he says to his spellbook. Once he’s put back together, he searches for a color pool back to the prime material, not wanting to spend more time than necessary in this place in his current injured state.

Just saying...
Any takers?
Come to think of it, Akame would have moved into the room to be able to target the Ambassador.
(Well I think if the sword and the haversack interact like that, it would have happened before the knight could pull the sack away, as soon as Tet put it in the sack, so retconning the knight not being in the cloudkill, which makes sense, doesn’t really change anything with regard to the sword. Tetrevess will try to get back to the group)

Sword would be destroyed, plus the sack's contents.

It's 2 object interactions on 1 turn if we need a me hanjcal reason. 1 to open the case another to place the item in the sack. Mage hand csn pick it up and place it in the sack, but you'd have to open the case and open the sack. Normally I'd wave thay away, but if we need a rules reason, there it is.
But.. it sounds like you're OK with how it happened, so there we are.
I'll get back to you on the Astral.stuff ASAP. Since time is like stopped out there, I'm taking you out of the initiative and running it separately.
@Tesservett also said retcon is OK, but seems content enough with the inyerest8 g snd unexpected situation that I'm planning ro just keep rolling.
I do need to know how close Akame was to the sword or Tetevess though. Full disclosure, and up to Ikarbano: if within 10ft of Tetrevess' pack, Akame is also sucked into the Astral.
From memory - I will check - I think there's no natural healing, like feom a rest, in the Astral and most divine powers are muted on the plane unless the source is also present on the Astral - a rarity, for sure.
Just something to consider, and correct me if I'm wrong om those points, in the current rules.
Akame is up, I think, still. I think i jumped the gun on the Necromancer. Sorry about that (kinda) but, you should know that's happening as you decide what you'll do.
If I've lost and and Akame and Chadderlay already went, then whoever is next is up. In either case, Necromancer's acrion is posted.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
So, it looks like we do need to do some adjusting. The thsyan k ight couldn't have done the grab the pack, so he just goes over and attacks Angus. He can't see Chadderlay, but he is near him.
Did Akame move away from the knight commander? I think he'd have made an aoo if so. Let me know.
TKC x Angus 9, 25 for 8 slashing + 7 damage each hit.

The rift to the Astral closes again.
The Necromancer unlocks and opens the center door in the north hallway and runs like hell.
Initiative ??? 19
(Hey! I removed the sword- final objective achieved! Heh)…
<You guys can call it whenever. I oronised escape via cinematic, but there are notable treasures in the room still. Up to you.>
"Nooooooo! You are ALL going to DIE Down Here!!" yells Cherthemiud, enraged. (Somehow aware feom the context of the event despite the blindness)
Knight Commander Str save 13
Someone is up.

Uh, well, that was unexpected...

Within 10ft of the sword?
(I'm fine with the retcon.)
If at any time I said 10ft³ are transported / annihilated, please adjust to the obvious 10x10x10 = 1000ft³. Ty

Akame tried to cast hold monster on the knight and the ambassador. Or was that erased by the retcon? No, he's not near the sword.
Initiatives:
Chadderlay 18 . Invisible (conc)
Angus 13 blindsight
Samogri 9 conc. Windwall
Tetrevess 6 on Astral plane
Akame 22
Thayan Knight Cmdr 4
Necromancer 17
Ambassador 9 visible, mirror image (3dups); blinded
