Vlar gets a +1 rapier, a +1 longbow, and +1 studded leather armor.
Wicker gets +1 studded leather armor, too, although it is a little big on her.
Soot gets a +1 shortbow, +1 leather armor, and two +1 daggers.
And, yes, Prim, please roll an Arcana check to learn each spell. Also, you notice a familiar dwarven cleric in the crowd, Skorli Bonebreak, who cooked the hobgoblin warlord in his own armor.
"Welcome, Skorli," Sergeant Knox greets the hero as the others get their gear situated.
As soot walks back into the fdf headquarters he notices the strange woman from before attempting to lift a large dwarven cleric to no avail. With a chuckle he opens the coin pouch to find (how ever much the dm says I will delete this and replace with a number to make it pretty) then with a smile/frown of disappointment he heads up to the dwarf. Soot extravagantly puts out hand, but in reality he’s simply looking to find whatever religion this cleric follows. 24 religion check
As soot meets this rather odd bolin fellow he looks the man up and down then states in a rather distasteful way “you know I’ve heard of the Durak clan. In fact, I’ve dabbled with your rapiers, and well my rapier is not from Durak. Also your people should really work on their security.” As he says this he pulls out a small trinket with the Durak mark sonething only a black smith would carry.
(ooc please don’t take any harshness from soot personally I really like all your characters however soot sees most people as 1 of 2 things tools or trash and at this moment few are seen as tools although I’m sure that will change good luck)
After practicing with his new weapon bolin notices the two other dwarves it the group and first introduces himself to soot "the names Bolin Son of Bronn of clan Durak pleasure to meet ya and also speaks to skroli noticing they are a cleric and might be wise to be on good terms with them "God's be with ya names Bolin Son of Bronn pleasure to meet ya you seem to be a dwarf of faith always happy to see someone who the gods back on our side".
Audun stops on his way back to the inn and turns back to speak to the druid. "Nice to make yours's too. I'm a swordsman, I use my family's traditional scimitar style." Audun draws his scimitar and shows to blade to her. I come from faraway lands where all you can see more miles is sand. Water is scarce and danger could lurk anywhere. The sun beats down on all living creatures sapping all your energy and water. Anyways, enough about myself. What's your specialty?
As darkness falls upon the city, Sergeant Knox informs you that bunks are available at the depot; so, you have no need to waste money on a room at an inn. Also, breakfast will be served shortly after dawn. After breakfast, everyone should meet at the East Gate to begin the trek to the siege camp.
When Prim returns to the depot (after greeting Skorli) she memorizes spells & goes to sleep. If the bunk is rough, she uses her bedroll for extra padding.
Wicker's eyes glint in the moonlight. "A blade of elvish make, is it? I'm sure that comes in handy where you're from, but lands of sand and scorching heat are alien to me. This... " She touches a budding shoot in her hair, causing it to blossom slightly. "...this is a little piece of my home. And incidentally, the essence of my powers. Rest well, Audun"
The halfling finds her way to the depot, clambers into a bunk and stares at the ceiling for a while. This cloistered room makes it hard for her to sleep.
When Prim returns to the depot (after greeting Skorli) she memorizes spells & goes to sleep. If the bunk is rough, she uses her bedroll for extra padding.
Deragor eventually returns from the courtyard and hears conversations here and there, but doesn't want to comment on any of them. As Sergeant Knox informs him that bunks are available, he sets out to claim his own.
He spends many more hours awake, lying on his bunk, listening to the noises of the depot, lost in his own thoughts. But eventually, probably around midnight, he fell into "sleep".
after this he heads out to the court yard to study the others training. Remaining very secretive about it (I’ll roll stealth and if you want to notice beat mine with perception stealth is 23) Soot studies on until the last of them leaves. He’ll spend the rest of the night sleeping on the roof. Just as the dwarf drifts off the voice returns “I saw your potential when you were but a child. Now you lay here in the cold just as I. You know what I wish and you shall release me.” with a Solemn confidence the rogue says sternly “I will.”
Bolin to heads to his bunk lays his axe against the frame pulls some dried jerky from his pouch takes a few bite thinking that this is a great opportunity for him rolls over and falls asleep easily as he is used to not having a bed of his own
Soot, the coin pouch you pilfered contained 210 sp and 70 gp. Somebody is probably going to want it back.
Okay. Sergeant Knox looks over the roster as the volunteers settle in for the night:
Audun Sandtoes, human fighter (Good.)
Bolin Brickbreaker, hill dwarf barbarian (A barbarian descended from the Gilain clan?)
Deragor, wood elf ranger (It's always good to have a Pix with you in the wilderness.)
Soot Craivenclaw, hill dwarf rogue (I hope he's not too much of a thief.)
Vlar, bugbear wizard/fighter (How did a bugbear get into Freeport? Well, he wants to fight goblins; so, he can't be all bad.)
Wicker Nightroot, halfling druid (I wonder if she's anything like the gnome sorceress Misha.)
Then, of course, the veteran heroes:
Primrose Perianth of the New Burgundy Perianths, human wizard (I wonder if she knows anyone at Perianth Trading.)
Skorli Bonebreak, hill dwarf cleric (A descendent of Gilain? He seems lucky enough to be.)
"Several others appear on the list, but none of them took any weapons or armor from the depot. Nor did they introduce themselves. I wonder how long they will last," he thinks quietly to himself.
waking on the roof 2 hours before sunrise just as every mourning. He sits up pulls out a silver coin and a dagger. Soot begins to vigorously carve out a snow flake made out of 6 rapiers connected in the center of the coin. Once completed he places the peice back into the halflings bag. (15 minutes past) The dwarf returns to the street and places the now emptied bag with but one coin on the ground. (I’d imagine an hour till sunrise.) He heads back to the depot where soot shall wait for breakfast.
Bolin awakes as the sun rises over the hills swings his legs to the side of his bed and stretches his arms over his head giving a loud grunt as he pulls on his joints and releases letting out another grunt. He hops out of bed grabbing his ax and steps out of the barracks. He finds a spot in the courtyard and begins his battle stances, swinging his ax at invisible foes with purpose thinking back to the day in the mist. This makes his blood boil but before his rage takes over he makes a final swing sweat beading off this brow and as he lifts his ax he takes a seat at a nearby bench and waits for the others to all wake up so they may get some morning grub.
Prim wakes to Revilie (since it's a military base). She assesses whether they shower here (separately from the guys), takes a quick one if so, and rushes through her hair & makeup routine before getting dressed & heading to the mess hall. She isn't as chipper as usual, wearing camo instead of pink.
"Oh poppycock!", she says to herself. "I forgot to get a scabbard for my parasol."
As the last notes of reveille sound, Kadakithes the quartermaster comes into the bunk room. "Rise and shine, everyone," he says loud enough for all to hear. "Sergeant Knox is already at the mess hall. He says to get some grub then meet him at the East Gate. You will depart for the siege camp as soon as everyone gets to the gate."

After thanking the quartermaster for the chainmail Audun heads back to swan inn to get some drink and a room.
Arcana 18 for detect magic
Arcana 25 for Locate object
Both rolled on cha sheet
And if she sees Skorli
"Skorli! It's SO good to see you!"
She hugs Skorli as tight as she can with 8 str and lifts him as high as she can with 8 str. (Probably doesn't budge him)
"It's SO good to see you! I thought ALL the old team had moved on."
“Nice to make your acquaintance, Mr. Sandtoes! What might your speciality be?”
