As the twig blights charge forward, you hear the groaning and creaking of wood. Two huge trees uproot themselves from the muddy earth, and begin to advance slowly.

2. Awakened Trees
3. Aeron

5. Twig Blights
6. Rizo

((For range purposes, the twig blights are 30 ft away, the trees are 35 ft away.))

(Are the awakened trees grouped together?)

(They're 15 ft apart.)

Depths takes out one singular bead.

It is thrown at the Awakened Trees.

It explodes into an explosion of flame.

The Awakened Trees must make a DEX save (DC 15).

On a fail, take 36 fire damage.

On a success, take half as much.

((...ok, I guess it's going to be a short fight anyway lol))

Depths hurls their bead at the oncoming plants, and with a blast of heat, every opponent is reduced to smoldering ruins. 

((They're vulnerable to fire, so they would have taken 36 even if they saved. Since they failed, the damage is doubled to 72... and they only had 59 hp. The blights were right in front of them, so unless you were purposely trying not to hit them, they'd get caught in the radius too. Good fight! lmao))

Next threat

You leave the smoking stumps behind, still pursuing the trail left by the goblin. Just a few minutes later, you hear voices coming from about 50 feet away. The foliage is too dense to see who's talking, but it seems there's a clearing ahead.

"Don't worry, Captain, there's no way they'll get past the trees and blights!" says a squeaky goblin voice.

"Silence, grub. You were a fool to face an adventuring party without my permission. Keep watch and keep quiet before I rip your tongue from your head."

"Yes, Captain, sorry, Captain!"

Revelry looks excited. "I'll bet that's the goblins' den. What should we do? Try to sneak up on them?" While she waits for the group to weigh in, she murmurs a quick prayer to Sune. Glistening beads of dew collect on her armor and then freeze into an icy carapace as she casts armor of agathys.

 "Are any of us that stealthy?" Aeron asks, "I think we should atleast get close enough to see if that person taking watch will see us, then try and incapacitate them. Then, we have the element of suprise against the rest of the den," He says. "I could handle the incapacitating, unless anyone else prefers to do it. I can provide assistance either way" He gives a smile

"I'm all for it, " and he clasps Aeron on the shoulder passing him a mote of intuition for a little extra boost, casting Guidance. For his own preparation he inflames his staff (Shillelagh) and makes doubly sure his shield is well fixed.

 Aeron gives a smile, "So i guess i go. But, i could probably give everyone a little boost to stealth if they need it."

"If you need me to sneak up, some help would be appreciated. I'm not all that graceful. Never needed to be, " he shrugs.

"Yeah, sneaking isn't really my strong suit," Revelry says, gesturing at her heavy armor. "It's worth trying, but maybe we let Depths creep up ahead first, and then us three heavies ((Aeron, Rizo, and Revelry)) go after Depths is settled?"

 "I'm decently good at it. But if depths is better, then i opt for them. Whichever is better for the party"
