The Favored Clam is a fine merchant vessel headed for Neverwinter from Baldur's gate. Hauling timber and other goods. A routine voyage with a fair wind in her sails. That is until a storm whips across the ship's bow as if materialized out of thin air. Soon the ship and all souls aboard are lost at sea. Water and food are running low as days past. Captain Fray and his crew have a dangerous glint in their eyes and some are seen smacking their lips when looking at you. You hear mutterings behind your back and conversations stop whenever you come near.

Backstory (Brief and please add why you are on the ship)
Common Magic Item: Medal of the Wetlands (wondrous, common)
Background: Hermit
Backstory: Caught wind that an old ally was traveling to Neverwinter. Zhermon had been finding their own path out in the wilds for several years after a discovery they made with their old ally prompted several factions to become a little too interested in what they were doing. It was a relic of a previous era, and Zhermon has spent the years studying it, trying to determine its true purpose. They think they have some answers now and need to consult their ally to be sure.
Appearance: Zhermon is an odd mixture of black and mossy green, keeping their traditional hood low over their eyes. Their clothes are brown and muddy looking, with sandy undertones that seem to shift depending on the lighting. Their overall appearance is rough but not dangerous looking. They are missing the nail of a claw on each foot, where it looks like someone declawed it on purpose.
Backstory Marguerite was lucky, as adventurers go. She had two good parents who loved her. However, both of them were top-notch thieves, and one day, when a job went wrong, both were caught and imprisoned. They still languish there as Marguerite searches for enough treasure to buy their freedom. The Baldur's Gate thieves' guild took her in and trained her, and she showed a knack for dueling with a blade, as well as witty repartee. She heard about a big job in Neverwinter, one which might finally earn her enough to get her parents out of prison, so she booked passage for the northern city.

“Don’t ask about the eye.” You come under the gaze of a sea half elf, sitting beside the gunwales of the ship. From time to time, he seems to be listening to the waves, listening to something else that you cannot hear. He stands and looks off the bow, as if he’s hearing sounds from beneath the waves, then he sits back down. “I’m from the Moonshae Isles. They find me useful around here, they feel like I’m a lucky charm, that I can make the winds blow. Maybe I can.” He’s wearing leather armor with a green patina, and as you sit and talk with him he’s rubbing it with a cloth with some oil and some green vegetation from below the waves, imparting a water resistance to it he feels and protecting the leather. He joined the Favored Clam as a member of the crew from Baldur’s Gate, a deckhand and a watcher of the waves and weather. “I don’t know what happened. They’ve asked me ten times. I don’t know why the storm came up. Why I didn’t see it. It’s not my fault.” He turns his head and listens again. “Sometimes, the dark ones are silent. I’m not going to tell you the tale yet. I’m sure you want to know all about my eye and how I got these powers.” He keeps rubbing the leather protecting it. “Not yet anyway. Soon. The way they keep looking at us, something is going to happen soon. I can’t have come so far, survived so much, to end like this….” His right eye swings around and looks behind him, over the waves, then swings back around to face you. It makes his expression harder to read, he seems to look right through you. He gives you a dreamy half smile, semi-smirk. “Helluva spot we’re in, aren’t we?”
