"Well? What happened? And what are we going to do in order to make sure it goes well?" Ignis asked. He was the least experienced in the group and didn't understand much of what was involved in an assault. He was also too clueless to tell that Vos was worried.

Ignis packs up his limited belongings and waits for the others to get ready. They had weapons and armor and all sorts of gear, but he had relatively little. It gave him time to reflect on what Vos had said.
A long road, huh? I hope I get to ride in a wagon or something. Walking is so tiring.
Bolstered by Gronk's friendliness the night before, Ignis followed the large half-orc around once he had finished packing his things. He even lent Gronk a hand for packing. Well, a Mage Hand, but it was still a hand.

Gronk thanked Ignis for his.. uh.. hand, and was happy that their friendship was growing. He waited with Ignis for the others, keen to get on the road.
Doran will scour the nearby forest area for some berries and potentially small game to catch (or instant fry with fire bolt) while attempting to keep within earshot of the group. (He has the outlander background to assist with foraging for food). The second siege after a failed first? He thinks. Well then, survival is going to be paramount. Let's hope the generals have thought this through.
Aien does not own much in the way of worldly belongings and is already packed, he will spend the morning assisting the others as needed without saying much. A friendly smile here, a nod there, and a hearty slap on the back (with 8 STR) to Gronk. Though the time with these men has been brief, Aien clearly is showing a good amount of brotherly affection to all of them not knowing the predigest of most elves towards dwarves, orc, or demon (tiefling).
Kreak packs his belongings with efficient, compact motions. Though not bound by a direct oath of poverty as some priestly orders are, his faith frowns upon flagrant excess or extravagance. His broad shoulders easily take the weight of his backpack and he hangs his warhammer on his belt, his crossbow in a quick release strap on his pack and his shield loosely on one arm. He looks ready to march for months, if so required.
After all your belongings have been packed your belongings you begin to travel along the trail as you continue on your way the travel is quiet uneventful, eventually the time reaches midday and Vos stops the travel for lunch

As they are traveling along Aien would assist Doran in finding Berry’s, nuts, or any eatable plant pulling them for a midday meal. He would eat this and drink some water after doing a short preyer of thanks.
While not a hunter himself, Kreak would at times intersect the Aien and Doran, blessing their efforts with a Guidance . Upon arriving at Vos's chosen campsight he sets his pack down carefully and rubs his back with two knuckles, easing out the knots.
If Vos is leading the march, Gronk takes the rear, making sure he's the first one to face an ambush from behind if necessary. He doesn't talk much on the march as he surveys their surroundings and frequently checks behind for any signs of a tail. Years of service has hardened his shoulders and feet to the march and he is quite comfortable on the trail. He sets down his pack with the others when they break for lunch and walks a large perimiter of the area, checking for any unwanted guests.
Ignis marches along in front of Gronk, carefree except to complain about how much he dislikes so much walking. He chatters endlessly to Gronk, who doesn't respond much. That doesn't stop Ignis, though. As usual, he lets Norbert do pretty much all of his work for him. His familiar has made him lazy and blithe, though he doesn't notice. He just kicks rocks that he comes across, plays jokes on his fellow travelers with a Mage Hand and generally disrupts the order of the march.

Doran prefers to keep a more central location in the party marching order, allowing him to quickly get to whichever side should it be attacked. He only has a dagger as a weapon of choice beyond his spells, but keeps it ready to draw at any moment along the trail. He begins to think about if he becomes a more powerful mage if he can provide a more convenient mode of transport for the group; perhaps some form of teleportation or enchanting a carpet to fly them to their destination.
He offers to keep an eye out while the group is having a lunch break, nibbling from some of the berries he found in the forest earlier. Perhaps this will go well, giving us somewhere to resupply and give me a bit of time to work on these spells he thinks, while keeping a look-out on the other side from Gronk's watch.
"Just meagre rations, perhaps your raven friend can hunt us some more tasty rodents Ignis?"
Gronk sorts through his pack and produces the rations, but hopes he doesn't have to use much, he only has one days worth. He grabs a small tree that had fallen nearby and drops the ball of roots into the fire, then sits down and takes water.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Sure, Norbert is pretty good at finding stuff. Not great at bringing them down, though. I'll go with him. Flash-fried bunny, coming up!" Ignis says cheerfully, glad to be of help.
He heads off into the woods, following the form of Norbert, commanding him to find some animals. He is not stealthy as he traipses through the undergrowth, completely oblivious to how much noise he makes and how it would likely scare away animals.
( Survival: 15 and second roll for advantage from Norbert or disadvantage from lack of stealth, 8. I'll leave it up to you, DM, to decide what works best. )
