The weretiger's survival instincts finally kick in, and he realizes this isn't a fight he can win on his own. He shifts into tiger form, and runs 40 ft away from the group, aiming to disappear behind a thicket of trees.

Anybody who wants to can make an attack of opportunity.

Doubting he'll even do any damage worth mentioning, Whistler nonetheless swings at the retreating creature.

All the attacks made at the fleeing tiger hit, and yet only the damage from Rizo's druidic fury seems to register. He shrugs off the non-magical damage and continues running for cover.

Whistler watched the weretiger run off, frustrated at his inability to hurt him. "Yeah, you just KEEP running, you coward!" he called after it, taunting. "We don't need yo worthless hide anyway, we'll just raid yo BROTHA'S CORPSE!"

(( No other action from Whistler ))

Aeron will looks at the brother's corpse, "Well, while his body's fresh..." he shrugs, sitting down cross legged in front of it and casting speak with dead

Revelry frowns at the retreating beast, but doesn't follow. Unless Rizo wants to pursue, we'll exit initiative order, and Aeron can cast speak with dead.

Rizo and Moni send a good bye fire bolt after the Weretiger to make sure it doesn’t change its mind.

The tiger yowls as the tip of his tail catches fire. He breaks into a run, dashing 80 ft away from the party, and ducking behind the trees. (Stealth 15)

While Aeron questions the bandit captain, Revelry starts to drag some of the tree branches that haven't already been burned into a pile suitable for lighting a campfire.

Whistler's response was a chuckle. "I must be feelin' mah age; I could use a good night's sleep at this point." He began helping Revelry gather branches as he continued with a smile, "but I s'pose a short rest's gonna hafta do!"

Rizo slowly relaxes after he scans the bushes and small trees for a reappearing tiger several times.

"I'm good for some shut eye. Hope the forest gives us a break."

"It's not just you, old timer," Revelry says to Whistler with a wink. "I'm pretty much spent. I can still swing my sword, but... something tells me I'm testing the limits of my divine lady's patience. If we run into more trouble with a skin as thick as that weretiger, I won't be good for much besides trash-talking."

Short rest time! Everyone, feel free to roll hit dice if you'd like to heal, and go ahead and reset any short rest abilities. The PCs have two uninterrupted hours, and the rest itself only takes one hour, so let me know if they have any spells they'd like to cast or preparations to make with the extra time before the party heads out again.

Revelry's only down a couple points, but I'm going to spend a hit die because why not... 4 hp

Aeron's questions for the bandit: How are you? Where do you and your brother keep your loot? Do you have prefered last rites?

Whistler simply retrieved his daggers and darts, then sat down for a rest as he sharpened his blades.

(( No hit die spent; 3 still left. After short rest, will spend a bonus action on Psionic Recovery to get back one Psionic Energy die. ))

Rizo cares for his wounds almost the entire time during the short rest (heals 29).
