I am an aspiring author for a long standing (but barely started) book series called Starbourne, and I was hoping to build my writing skills with some RPG playing and creation.
This is a story of magic and science, of love and loss, of angels and demons, and of light and shadow. Centuries ago, in a world long since forgotten, there was an Angel Queen named Aurora, who invented magic itself. Aurora concentrated the original magic into seven vessels, known as the Hearts of Aurora. Six pendants and one crown, called the Corona Vera. Aurora was beloved by octillions of beings, from Divine to Infernal and everywhere inbetween, except for a small clan of Demons and the Humans who served them. This is not Aurora's story. Nor is it the story of her husband, King Victor, a human paladin with a desire to help his people find a new home, or their daughter, Princess Lucilia, whose love for the Multiverse allowed her to be compassionate with even her greatest enemies... this isn't their story. This is the story of their future lives, their reincarnations:
Eveline Delebleux, a reincarnation of Queen Aurora, and one of the Seven Queens of Humans herself, has decreed that all angels and demons must be screened before they are allowed extraplanar travel. Such a law is something that she would never have done in her past life, but she believed that it was for the greater good.
Simon Devlyn, a reincarnation of King Victor, and Eveline's husband, does not believe that Eveline is her true self, but he supports her decision, reluctantly.
Stella Nova Devlyn, a reincarnation of Princess Lucilia, and heir to Eveline's throne and title, wants Humans, Angels, Demons, and all other races to get along peacefully... but nobody seems to be listening to her.
Can Stella discover the secret of her mother's past life and change the way magic works so that this peace can be achieved? Or will the Multiverse forever live in chaos and evil?
I am making my own TTRPG, but since it is very new, it's not ready. So I am playing Starbourne campaigns in DnD instead. Creatures and places from Starbourne and Spelljammer will be present, but the ruleset is DnD 5e centric.

Sounds symmetrical are you looking for characters to interact with your story?
*Sha-gravis *Fjörn Bhrünt *Leif Aulderoot *Saltstrider *Eron Colborn
is this a actual game, and is it new player friendly?
Yes to all y/n questions asked so far.

For the Play By Post campaign, you can post here or in my Starbourne Discord server, which is over there: https://discord.gg/rJWqKsDRG7
Or my D&D one, which is here: https://discord.gg/cJQ9HDp
so, will there be any requirements, since i want to play on here i'm guessing there will be some like any other.
I'm also interested. Let me know what guidelines we should follow for character generation.
D&D since 1984
Are you dming for this?
Yes.
Roll stats, any 6 numbers that add up to a total between 66 and 90, as I want the game to be easygoing early on.
