Summary This PbP campaign is for solo monster combats. Exploring tactics, combos, and strategies.
1. Choose Solo, Duo, or Cohorts 2. Choose Tier 3. Select the encounter 4. Post your choices and roll initiative
Solo You playing a single PC and the DM runs a single monster. One player gets to use the entire budget.
Duos Two players partner up and take turns during the initiative order to fight a single monster. Each player gets their own Solo Budget.
Cohorts You runs both characters. Your primary character is the level of the Tier. Your second character is one level lower. Both characters share magic items purchased from the same budget.
Optional "Threefold Reputation" Rule After a lot of thought, we will revoke the Threefold Rule, that states you must either engage in melee or get into range for a ranged attack, at a minimum of every third round. I want player to follow the rules of 5th edition, no matter how broken the tactics. Characters 27 point buy, with XP and wealth, based on the "Tiers of Play" chart. You can purchase magic items with shop prices listed below. Crafting allowed based on rules from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Tiers of play Recently changed the curve to make it flatter but this also changed all the budgets.

Pseudopod attack 11 Damage: 11 (first 2d6 bludgeoning, last d6 is acid damage)
That does not hit. Death will draw both his shortswords (i bought the vicious one and he has one from starting) and make an attack with the vicious, and another with the offhand one with his bonus action. (I know that he can punch and it’ll deal more savage but I don’t want to punch acid)

offhand attack: Attack: 8 Damage: 4
I will then move to C7, provoking an opportunity attack but he (hopefully shouldn’t be able to reach me next turn.
