Aresus, the bugbear War Cleric currently equipped with splint and a lance, stands before the tower and prepares for the monsters within by drinking his potion of heroism and saying a prayer to Mars (in the form of casting protection from evil and good on himself). He walks into the tower to fight the choker that lurks within (Encounter 2A), with his initiative of 2 (1 + 1).
