"Of course there are. We will spread out in a circle around where we want to lure him. We will sneak over to those trees, out of the line of sight. Two people should be stationed on the ground, to rush in to grab him, and 2 of our more dexterous members, should lay wait top of the trees to get a literal drop on the guard. The remaining two should stay her to communicate to the rest of the team to let them know when he is close, so they are prepared. Sadly this would mean I have to stay put as I will be the best at communicate over the distance without making a sound. Yuri. could you be my relay? Once I told you he is in position, could you use your sword to reflect sunlight so the others will have the info too? Once everyone has been alerted, everyone jump on him. If the two on top can knock him down, the other two should be able to restrain him. Then, leave the interrogation to me." Kim grows a sickening smile across her face. Its not the same devilish smile like before that was almost flirty. No, this one is more of that of a monster. Its as if she has no problem with causing harm to another creature for information.
Renvalm sees the monstrous smile appear on Kim's face at the mention of her interrogating the goblin and it disturbed him. The last time he saw a smile like that was on the ones who had captured and experimented on him. He couldn't help but grimace at the disturbing parallels of the two. As much as he wanted to say something about how disturbing it was he knew that now wasn't the time.
Pushing all of that from his mind for now he addressed Kim, "Sounds like a great idea Kim but we need to think of the possibility that there maybe more then one guard. What shall we do if more then one comes down here? We will need to be prepared to quickly strike down any stragglers that may come while also grabbing the one we want."
“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
"The plan seems sound, but Renvalm is right." Yuri looks around at their surroundings. At the mouth of the cave and the stream and at the vegetation growing close to the entrance. "Renvalm and I could hide there," he points, "close to the entrance. We would be close enough to get in on the goblins quickly..." His voice trails off.
"...it would be dangerous though, we'd have to be careful not be caught between the goblins we lured out and any who came to investigate any noise. We would have to be quick."
"Before we do anything, Darthos, can you have your bird scout out the cave entrance and the area around it. We need a better look before we walk into another situation like the ambush at the road."

Darthos Tay
He looks over at Ranvalm and nods, putting a hand on one of his massive shoulders just as he shifts his senses over to Boren, and tries to see as best he could what lay at the entrance
Happy to see her teammates working so well together and thinking through the surprises that may happen Kim looks at Renvalm and replies, "Very good point. However, if there are more than 1 guards, wait till all are visible and capture the one at the back to keep as much silence as possible. Then the rest of us can surprise attack the others. If we are swift enough we can possibly take them all down before they can react."
While Darthos is scanning the area with his bird, Kim stares are each of her teammates, studying them. She is attempting to learn more about them, what hand they use to fight, how quick of access do the wizards have to their spell components, things that will help her know how to plan better.
As they for the information from Darthos, Renvalm eyes Kim with concern. What he as seen of her shows that she knows what she is doing but something about her feels wrong. He begins to wonder where she could have received her training. The fact that she said to leave the interrogation to her, as if she had done it before, even enjoyed doing it left unanswered questions in his mind. Where would someone learn interrogation techniques? The possibilities were not good and left him feeling a little concerned. He would have to keep a close eye on her to make sure that she didn't go too far during the interrogation of the goblin. He knew first hand what it felt like to be tortured and didn't wish it on anyone.

Watching all of this go down, Gramgran settles against a tree, simply waiting for the children to solidify their plan. She would just try to help out as she went. Idly she plays with her amulet of Lliira, thanking her for giving her this opportunity to find some more people to join.

Goblins, such lazy creatures by habit, have noticed the group as Darthos begins to flash lights in the air from the open field. Two goblin archers are set up behind the thicket to the east as look outs for the cave entrance. They watch and listen as the group hatches their plan to attack the cave. They can tell Kim is most likely calling the shots. They take Gramgran as weak, due to her age and her taking a rest. The goblin archers prepare for attack through the thicket before seeing the flight of Darthos bird, which draw their attention. Darthos being his investigation of the area. To the north, nothing can be seen but the top of the rocky cave. As the bird travels east over the thicket, Darthos sees the thicket appears to be a blind. Darthos sees two goblins hidden behind the blind, before both goblins take aim at the bird that has come to spy on their activities. Both goblins then release their arrows. Darthos see both arrow fly true and strike the bird before his vision is lost.

The bird tumbles out of the sky and lands in the open area of the goblin blind. They quickly reload and take aim at the group. As Darthos is explaining what he sees, he is taken aback at the sudden attack. Darthos attempts to tell the group, but hesitates. Everyone looks on in suspense. Darthos is finally able to explain what happened, but not before a second barrage of arrows arrive from behind the thicket. Goblin 1 takes aim at the leader, Kim. Goblin 2 will take his attack against the poor grandmother, Gramgran. Kim hears an arrow zip by her position and Gramgran finds herself the target of an arrow, barely missing her. The arrow with black fletching sticks in the tree next to her. Players to goblins - 150 feet
Seeing Gramgran almost get hit an arrow and another fly past Kim, Renvalm starts into action. Running as far as he can (30ft) Renvalm pulls out a javelin and throws one at Goblin 2. At this distance hitting the goblin will be a challenge but one of the goblins needed to be taken out and they needed only one. Unfortunately the shot goes wide. He would have to get closer and try again.

Yuri hears the two arrows before he sees them. His head snaps to the direction they were fired from. Cursing under his breath he knows they are too far away for him to reach, but also knows he needs to put them under pressure. Get in their faces. Give them more to worry about than peppering the group with arrows.
Yuri shrugs his shield from his back and takes off at a run. Yuri dashes towards the goblins.

Gramgran
Feeling a little mad at these goblins who don't respect their elders, Gramgran will go 35 feet closer behind another tree (distance 115) and will fire her crossbow at them.
Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Tragically, she misses, but next time will be another story.
Darthos watches in first person as he's shot out of the air, snapping back into his body frantically patting himself down for a moment to see if he was actually shot, only to look up and see Boren falling from the sky, disappearing in a flash of light before hitting the floor, the connection he had with it snapping as it's sent back to its realm. Filled with anger at the way the goblins shot down his familiar, he runs up thirty feet and casts fire bolt at goblin 1 and watches as it streaks through the air and hits it in the leg.
As the group charges toward the goblin threat, Renvalm lets loose a spear. It is thrown to is maximum distance before disappearing into the thicket. Renvalm assumes a miss as teh goblin did not cry out in pain. Yuri charges ahead of the other other attackers. Grangram also closes her distance before letting an arrow fly. It too is lost in the thicket without a goblin screech. Darthos fire bolt launches across the field into the thicket, cutting a hole through the vegetation. Goblin1 takes the hit in the leg and screeches in pain from the burn.
Kim jogs forward (30ft), knowing she cannot make it in time before the others or before the goblins would be able to strike at her again. Her amulet starts glowing as she yells to the others, "Keep running! I'll make an ice bridge for everyone!" She raises her left hand, pulling it back creating a small ice storm in her hand, then throwing a ray of frost at a small part of the river.
With the goblins well within range of his longbow, Morpetor quietly slides an arrow out of his quiver, takes aim, and releases his arrow toward the first goblin.
Attack: 24 Damage: 7
Anxious to protect himself from a retaliation, he finds cover under a nearby tree.

He takes his sword from his scabbard. Tilting it in the light, nervously practising reflecting the sunlight along the blade.
