Danvi takes Signe up on his offer of drying clothes before retreating towards the back of the cave to trance for a while. "If anyone needs me, just tap my knee," Danvi said as he sat down, cross-legged.
As he closed his eyes and let the darkness envelop him, Danvi returned to the memories of his time in Nova Umbra reflecting on the training he had done there. The coming storm seemed to have some effect on these visions, bringing forth memories of cloudy days and windy nights. Danvi could feel his limbs growing colder, his skin turning blue. He refocused himself on his favorite memory: a warm, spring afternoon in Nova Umbra, beneath a silverbell tree. Those watching Danvi would have noticed his skin turning slightly blue once more, before returning to its regular green shade.
Riot stands and shakes his head, "I'm afraid I cannot help with that. I shall do my part by standing guard at the entrance if you all would like to rest for the evening." Riot goes over to the mouth of the cave and stands on lookout for anything going about in the storm.
"If you want the lumber conditioning it can have the moisture sapped from it before burning. I can go search for some suitable components." Jethro suggests. He has Prestidigitation to dry the wood before setting it alight.
(If he goes out, I'll assume a survival will be required. Will guidance himself as I remember I have spells and such.)
In the rough weather, Jethro fails to find any potential kindling. As he returns, Nuras sighs. "Oh well. I clearly should have bought a blanket along. Didn't expect to have to sleep in the form of an elf, inside a cave in the rain. Rest well: we'll be pressing on tomorrow."
With that, he retreats to another corner of the cave, and lays against the wall of the cave. With that, the rest of the group continues their nightly rituals in the cold, before dozing off.
As he keeps watch, Riot finds the weather to severely hamper his senses, even further than the darkness's theft of his sight. [Riot: Roll a Wisdom (Perception) check with disadvantage.]
In the darkness, Riot sees very little, and hears very little thanks to the rain. After an hour or so, Signe, still awake joins him. "Hello, Riot, wasn't it? Sorry if this is too forward, but, well, what exactly are you? You look like a golem, but certainly don't act like one. Were you constructed or born?"

Riot shakes his head, "It is no bother at all, I was constructed to serve a goal and help with my creator's desires. Such as giving manpower to the militia or patrolling the streets for protesters. In a way, I was made so that there would be no way I'd sympathize with the rioters. I could not be swayed by words or money but just carry out my creator's orders. I do it for the sake of my creator and to fulfill my purpose as his creation. I am not much different from those of faith, I do the purpose I am here for otherwise feel as if I have no purpose at all."
"Hmm... Very well then. If that sort of thing satisfies you, then I guess you should keep on doing it. Never been one to follow rules beyond my own morals, personally."
After nearly three more hours, Signe stands up, walks back into the depths of the cave, and begins to trance. A few moments later, Danvi's trance ends.
The rain continues all night, through til dawn, and continues as the group begins to pack up in order to press on. "Before we press on, a warning to you all. I expect we'll run into the ogre tribe that resides here today. They've killed many a person before, so be ready for danger. Hopefully it won't happen until either the rain has let up or we're high enough that it's snowing instead of raining. The sort of movement that people tend to need in combat could be dangerous otherwise."

"Weather permitting, I think we'll handle the ogres just fine," Danvi said as he prepared to leave. Out of habit, he checked to make sure the bundle on his back was still secure before the group departed.
Raviel wakes with the others and stretches with a yawn. He checks his belongings and gets out his book to ritually cast Unseen Servant to assist with packing up the bedroll, blanket and tent. With this all done, after listening to Nuras, he casts Mage Armor on himself and follows the others.

(Hey, back from holidays! Just catching up on everything)
During the night, Jethro will just be seated in the corner, with a thousand mile stare on his face as he is seemingly unconscious. Upon the group being roused, he just blinks once and looks to the group. "Is it time to move?" He asks.
The group continues packing up, eating rations, and bracing themselves to be soaked once more. Bear and Gretu seem particularly upset by the prospect of being soaked, while Signe seems completely unbothered by the prospect. Garadd's stony visage makes it hard to gauge his opinion of the torrential rain. With everyone seeming ready to depart, Nuras walks out of the cave, with a warning not to follow until he has returned to his true form, lest you be shunted into the side of the mountain as his elven form grows to the form of a dragon.
Less than a minute later, you are once again on your way. [Again, time for a group Dexterity check (rolling for your partner once again).]

Danvi watched in awe as Signe seemed to glide across the wet ground before them. "I swear the storm is actually helping him," Danvi muttered, catching himself before he slipped off the mountainside. Regaining his balance, Danvi pressed onward into the rain.
Only Bear and Gauthak have any issue, but other members of the group manage to keep them from falling back. Suddenly, out of the rain, several ogres appear, loudly. Five wield large clubs, while the sixth carries a large chain. Nuras chuckles. "Oh my, I was hoping this wouldn't happen. Prove to me your skills, the ten of you together!"
With this, he launches himself into the air, to watch from above. The ground is slick with rain, but you'll have to fight here, as they block the path in front of you. [Moving more than half your movement speed, you must succeed a DC 15 Athletics or Acrobatics check or fall prone].

Jethro's Turn:
Jethro lets the rope holding his chest slide so it lands to the ground softly. He incants a curse with a Hex upon the ogre with a chain, before unleashing a blast of eldritch energy at his cursed target. Eldritch Blast vs. Ogre Chain Brute:24 vs. AC. Hit:4 force, plus 2 necrotic damage.
Free action: put the chest down. Bonus action:Hex vs. Chain Brute, give him disadvantage on Constitution-based checks. Use Pact Magic spell slot Action:Eldritch Blast vs. Chain Brute.
Garadd's Turn:
Garadd, fine to move through the mountain terrain, steps up to the nearest ogre, readying his battleaxe and shield to take on the big beast. He aims for the target's weak spots, applying his Hunter's Mark upon the target.
Battleaxe vs. Ogre 5:21 vs. AC. Hit:11 slashing damage.
Bonus Action:Hunter's Mark. Use 1st level spell slot. Action:attack. Movement: Up 3 squares, right 1 square.
Signe rushed forward past Danvi, stopping himself next to Bear. Muttering an incantation, a shimmering field of defensive magic surrounded him as a bolt of energy sprung from his fingertips. A slight misstep in his footing caused the bolt to shoot off wildly, slamming into the mountainside.
Signe:
Action: Casting Chaos Bolt [rolled in discord], with definite miss against Ogre 2.
Movement: 3 squares north.
Bonus Action: Spend 2 sorcery points to cast Mage Armor using Quickened Spell metamagic. AC now equals 17.
The small disruption was enough of what Danvi needed. He rushed forward, sliding across the ground before finding purchase with his rapier in the leg of one of the ogres. Feeling confident, he went for two jabs at the ogre with his free hand. The first did nothing, but on the second he could feel a very sharp pain in his hand. "Motherf-" Danvi winced as he felt the duller pain set in. "I didn't think that ogres were actually made of stone!"
Danvi:
Action: Melee Rapier attack [rolled in discord] against Ogre 2. 7 piercing damage.
Movement: 4 squares north, 2 west. Acrobatics check of 24.
Bonus Action: Flurry of Blows (1 ki point) with offhand, both misses AFAIK. One natural 1.
