Boo just sits quietly in the corner reading a book, ready to go. Guido is going through the trash looking for any bits of uneaten food, etc. to snack on.
"I'll put my mask on once we start the heist. Should the groups start heading out to their places? The train group will only have some time to board the train, if I remember right. And for the taxis, we just need to keep other people off from the train and get the other group out safely, correct?"
“I think you are right.” Daejor agrees with Weasel. “My familiar, Leej, is staying with the skytaxi drivers until 8pm, when we’ll meet them at the chosen location.”
Eleven eats heartily, shrugging at any comment about the food tasting too much like ale. He then spends time with his new hat of disguise in private, trying to work out the pronunciation of the command word. Finally, after about 10 minutes, he pronounces it right, and his physical form shifts into that of an equally brawny minotaur. He looks at his furry arms and torso and says the word again and he is once more scaled and dressed like a sailor. Saying the word again, he changes into the form of a firbolg. Saying the word a final time, he is back to normal. He looks around the room to catch an eye and grin, but doesn't notice anyone else paying attention.
Kerthak is already clad in his new cloak and have his weird longsword inserted in his right arm. He is just standing there, looking at the others get ready waiting for orders to follow.
Boo looks up from her book and watches Eleven slink off away from everyone... The slender Halfling wondering what the big lug is up to closes her book and stuffs it into her pack and tiptoes closer, looking down at Guido, the imp shrugs giving his mistress and evil look, "were I you... I think I would let him be. Mayhap he in is in dire need of some... you know... some me time... some folks before a big job like to relax and milk the monkey, grease the bone... drain the dragon to take the edge off!"
After the word dragon comes out of his mouth, it hits the imp just how clever he is. So amusing himself he falls over laughing at his incredible wit... and unable to dodge the back of Boo's hand as she gives him a well-deserved smack, "what did I tell you about that sort of talk... you are disgusting beyond words!"She waves her finger in front of the imp's face scolding him... The imp rubs his sore cheek, "ouch... I was just joking, lighten up toots, why so serious?"
Shaking her head in disgust Boo turns her attention back to Eleven edging closer to see what he is up to. Then she sees him playing around with his hat of disguise, she smiles, somewhat relieved, "Eleven,"she laughs, "thank the gawds, I thought you were... well never mind what I thought. The hat is a good idea, I am impressed."
When Boo speaks, Eleven jumps a little. "Oh, hi Miss Boo." He touches a finger to the brim of his hat and grins. "Nice isn't it? For some reason, it makes me want to ride a horse." The dragonborn laughs a boisterous bark. "Could you imagine me on a horse? That'd have to be some kind of big horse!" He takes the hat off and turns it in his hands, inspecting it. "I kind of fell into it. You know, it's hard to find a good mask to hide horns. This will take care of that. It took me a few tries to get the command word right, but ..." He puts the hat back on, says, "Hethrâl," and there before Boo is her spitting image, only twice as big! The giant Boo spreads her arms wide, grinning unabashedly.
Boo giggles at the sight of her extra large self, "just don't use that one during the job,"slowly she walks around Elven, "oh come on..." she cries, "my bum is not that big, is it?"She groans, "no more sweets for me," glaring at Guido... "why didn't you say something?"The imp can only look around nervously at the others, aware that there is no right answer to that question which will please Boo.
After she calms down, Boo looks around at the others... "looks like we are ready to go..." she looks at Ithwondering if he is keeping something from the group. He has not said much concerning his meeting with the person in charge..., "anything to add Ith, you never answered my question before about your meeting with the boss?"
Caspian will quietly sit, waiting for the heist to get underway. He looks pretty nervous and keeps running his fingers over the black iron barbed wire bracers that seem to be sewn into his wrists. "I don't want to hurt anyone... I don't know what I'm doing here..." He mutters to himself as his fingers trace his mask."But... I need to find him. I have to." This seems to strengthen his resolve, and he places the mask over his face, obscuring his features behind those of a wooden fox. The only part of him still visible are his bright yellow eyes, which change to glow red. "I'm ready."
It gets close to the appropriated time to get your ride from your bought drivers, Biff and Charl. Leej has been following them quietly, subtly refreshing their invisibility throughout the day as they go about their jobs. The has been nothing of importance to report, as they are just doing their day job.
The group makes their way out in their two groups, taking a couple of different routes to the rendezvous so not to draw too much attention, and arriving at the pick-up point about ten minutes early. (Are people wearing their masks and disguises from this point, or waiting for a bit?)
Daejor simply changes its appearance to that of male human in felt clothing and a large obscuring hood that it saw during the ride.“I’ll go by Mr. Orange if we are doing the whole code name thing”
A couple of teen humans wander past, seeing the group in their masked attires. "Pfft, edgelords..." One of them mutters as they disregard the strange garb.
After a couple of minutes two skycoaches pull up beside the party, Biff and Charl at the helms. (Spoiler for what a skycoach looks like. The ones you've hired are a little bigger.)
If he does, Eldin will tell Eleven, "We have passed the time for second thoughts long ago. Keep your head in the game; keep focused and don't doubt yourself."
If they are in different locations or if Eldin can't hear Eleven, then disregard this post.
Booa.ka. Ms. Blue for the heist looks at the others already masking up... shrugs and causes her shiftweave garment to shimmer... in an instant her current attire shifts to her masked jester outfit, masked but not in a way that seems dark and threatening when just walking the streets, her idea is to just appear as another eccentric street performer.
Boo does not walk (in tight formation) with the others, not wanting for everyone all pile up as a big group all wearing masks or such and possibly attracting too much-unwanted attention or scrutiny. Thus she keeps her distance to appear as if she is not with the others... but keeping them in sight as she moves along getting into character as a jest or mime. Skipping along, dancing about... doing invisible wall mime things, etc. when they come across other people on the street or in front of shops etc.
Invisible... Boo's Imp Familiar Guido tags along with her, watching her back, trying his level best not to mention how the jester fit makes her bum look two sizes larger. All the while both remaining aware of their surroundings and the various people about for anything out of the ordinary or potentially problematic...
"It's our first job as adventurers, so it's good to be just a little bit cautious. But let's not turn back now, I...I don't know what happens when we say we can't do it. My clan just does a small punishment of boring chores. Will it be the same here or would it be that 'jail' thing?"
