To make a long story short, Ostran was a group of Seafaring mercenaries and pirates called The Black Banners. Something happened, though. A horrible change that Ostran couldn't stand for. No longer could he stand by and see his people, the crew he sailed with, descend into this terrible evil. He fought back, but he was beaten and cast overboard in a barrel. He was set adrift to die. A kind family found him on some remote shore. A farming family. They helped heal him and get him back up, but soon they fell on hard times. The father of the family died. Ostran then set out on promises for fortune and swore he'd bring back that wealth.
Raaldo Wilcome Goodbarrel was raised in a lovely farming community with soft rolling hills. His family home was a modest but quite nice hole on a hill overlook a nearby stream. He spent his days as a lad fishing and learning to work the land with his father.
As he grew, he had a desire to learn more and see more. Quite unusual for the folk from his town, but being the sort that always had to try to do things a bit different from his peers, he set out on a journey one day to a town a few days out, down on the coast, known to be frequented by strange folk from other lands. This he loved and began years of travel for the young half-ling.
In his travels, Raaldo courage and confidence continued to grow as did his desire to help the people and the world around him. During a trip back to his home village one autumn day, he happened across a priest traveling to a remote church. They had a wonderful picnic lunch together on the side of the road and fell into deep conversation causing them to have to make camp and stay the night. The two became fast friends and during the year Raaldo visited the Monastery where this priest occasioned and finally joined the order and began studying the ways of {Diety}.
Ever the traveler, Raaldo realized tending to a local flock was not his calling but longed to spread the word and good gifts through his travels. Putting his studies and sense of adventure to great use as he helped those he met along the way.

Originally from Neverwinter, —Mir for short— has made a life out of moving from place to place. He is not comfortable in social occasions and prefers the shadows to the spotlight. Despite his slight build, he has survived due to his sharp eye, preferring his bow over a blade.

I have two I'd be willing to throw in. An air genasi cleric, or a tiefling barbarian. The air genasi cleric is my first choice and the one I will link here, but if a barbarian might be better I can throw them in instead.
Wendy Skye, air genasi cleric of Avandra (tempest domain), embraces the chaotic nature of change. She loves to explore and find new things, and new adventures. She's a bit flashy, and a show off, and loves to run head first into any situation caution be damned.

Odysseus, The Half-Elf Cleric of (Eldath), Never believed in fighting. He's not a fighter. He'd rather sit back and heal, talk it over. But when the adventurers across the region slowly started fading after being revived (I think that's the plot, correct me if im wrong.), his dad, a mighty adventurer, was in trouble. Therefore, he set out on an adventure.
edit: woof these are bad. is content sharing on? I plan on making a tanky barb
Thrash is a pit fighter turned adventurer, his outlook on the world and the evil within it is that its just another prize fight. Prize fighting is all he knows, if there isn't a prize he doesn't feel like he needs to fight... good thing he likes to though.

Name: Valentia Forestsong
Ability scores:91217131112
Race: Human (Variant)
Class: Cleric 2 (Grave Domain)
Backstory: (Hermit) Valentia grew up on a normal life in her small coastal town, but was as a teenager offered the place of a hermitage, learning about a religion she hadn't even heard of before. Her acceptance was reluctant from her part, but there she learned about the god that she worships to this day, his dogmas being of the balance of the cycle of life, and the importance of death in the equilibrium. In this mission, fighting a lich, and returning balance to that cycle are her primary objectives.
Character Sheet
(I believe I'll have to retreat my character once again... Such a shame, I was completely excited to have a chance to enter this time around... I just had to occupy my 6th character slot for another character, so I believe I really won't be able to keep her here.)
Vrakvroth Esstyrlynn stood before the elders and took the oath of devotion. Swearing to the Ptarian Code, Vrak swore to uphold the virtues of the order, to be pure of heart and deed, help each other and protect the "lesser races", and would strive to convert their foes instead of killing them. Violence was used only as a last resort. When it was finished he knelt and Azhaq, leader of the Talons of Justice, put the amulet of Bahamut around his neck. Azhaq spoke "Rise Paladin Vrakvroth Esstyrlynn and welcome to full membership in the order."
When he was 15 Vrak had entered into training with the Talons of Justice. His father's standing in the clan had gained him entry. His own strength of character has kept him there. The training was tough, nothing less for the Dragonborn and for Balumet. Within a few years it was obvious where his path within the order lay. His strength of character and determination found him with the paladins, training and learning. His devotion to good made him a model student and his devotion to his studies allowed him to excel. Martial training, studies and classes made him an able warrior.
Now at 25 he had finished his training. The oath of devotion made he was ready to do as the order willed. He was ready to face evil and destroy it.
Unfortunately, we just lost a party member, so I'm looking for a new one!
Looking for a PC to fit into a group of a barbarian, a wizard, a druid, and a paladin.
