A short feathery fellow speaks up with a sharp voice, "Very well. I am Gene. I'm what you would call a local to Chult. Even then I have very limited experience with the deep jungles."
He takes a deep breath as this is becoming a very long speech by aarakockra standards, "My specialty is the undead. Specialty as in tracking them down and destroying them."
Another breath, "I would like to be on the way, the indoors make me uncomfortable."

She leads you down to the port, where a sloop awaits. It has a single mast flying a square mainsail plus two triangular foresails, one aft sail, and a small topsail. It says 'The Brazen Pegasus' in large white letters on the side. A hulking man whose face is almost hidden by a heavy beard streaked with gray stands in front and, noticing Syndra, waves you all aboard. A female rock gnome awaits you aboard the ship. She begins to speak.
"Welcome aboard The Brazen Pegasus! I'm Captain Ortimay, and this is Grig. We'll be your captain and first mate for the remainder of this trip. Everyone ready to go? We've been waiting for hours!"

Somewhere in the back of the group, Nobody has been furiously taking notes in a small, worn journal since the goblin introduced himself, and has been on auto-pilot since then. He will in passing toss out his name if questioned. But otherwise, he is so wrapped up in his writtings that it is a miracle he keeps up with everyone, let alone follow them onto the ship.
Even once there, he doesn't stop taking notes, and will spend an inordinate amount of time following the non-human members of the party around from a distance whenever possible on the trip.

Gynugri waits until everyone is finished doing their task at hand before walking towards Syndra.
"Syndra, you told us earlier that you have a map of Chult. Fortunately, I have an empty case for scrolls and maps that I can use to store it."
The goblin hands over his empty case at their masked employer.
"You also mentioned that you have contacts with a group called Harpers. I have no knowledge about them and maybe the rest of my comrades too. Could you tell us more about them in case we need their assistance on the task you've given us?"

"Its not at all complete, but it's the best I could get. The yellow parts are areas of high undead concentration. The darker, the undeadier."

(You would know of the harpers, they are a very prominent faction. Here is a bit about them:)
The Harpers is an old organization that has risen, been shattered, and risen again several times. Its longevity and resilience are largely due to its decentralized, grassroots, secretive nature, and the near-autonomy of many of its members. The Harpers have “cells” and lone operatives throughout Faerûn, although they interact and share information with one another from time to time as needs warrant. The Harpers' ideology is noble, and its members pride themselves on their integrity and incorruptibility. Harpers do not seek power or glory, only fair and equal treatment for all.
Harper agents are trained to act alone and depend on their own resources. When they get into scrapes, they don’t count on their fellow Harpers to rescue them. Nevertheless, Harpers are dedicated to helping one another in times of need, and friendships between Harpers are nigh unbreakable. Masterful spies and infiltrators, they use various guises and secret identities to form relationships, cultivate their information networks, and manipulate others into doing what needs to be done. Although most Harpers prefer to operate in the shadows, there are exceptions.
Gynugri almost had an headache after seeing the vast map.
"When you told us we will search the jungles of Chult for the artifact called Soulmonger, I thought it was just a small portion of it. There's also the issue of terrain, we can't even use horses in these vast jungle so our means of travel would have to be on foot."
Gynugri places the case containing the map on his backpack as he makes a grim statement.
"After seeing this, it would probably take weeks, maybe even months to find what you're looking for Syndra. There's a chance we could find it but to find before you expire... would need a bit of luck. If you believe in deities, better pray for them now as we need every little help we can get."

Gene drops his pack on the deck, "Ready, sir! I hope you don't mind if I stay abovedecks for the journey?"
Tab is visibly uncomfortable by the prospect of a sea voyage, but he takes a few swings from his flask, and he steps aboard.
