(@Superbad: I don't think Land Stride would work on water, but we are out of initiative, so you do not need to limit your movement to the speed showing in your character sheet.)

As Verdict flies about eventually going into the long eastern hallway, he sees a short black-feathered humanoid bird walking carefully but unhindered by the wet sand. It holds a bow with a readied arrow. This happens just as Jury shares with Grixx and Drago the sad news about Charles as well as introduces Justice to them. Then the warforged dives (I'll need an investigation check with disadvantage due to the murkiness of the water. I'll lower the DC since the sword glows and you know its whereabouts as it is where your connection to Law was lost.)
As Drago enters the large room to look for Charles, elsewhere, Bone notices Verdict approaching.
Left alone for a minute, Grixx slowly builds up the courage to remove the Periapt of Health. He eventually does, and feels no different. With Tymora's coin now in his hands, Grixx feels a sense of relief. It seems Drago's magic was enough to remove the Aboleth's disease as its next stage was never triggered.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Verdict threw his head up in a cheer and let out a cry. Though noticing the readied shot, "eeps!" and lands on the ground with his little, clay hands in the air! One unlucky shot from the eladrin was one. It didn't trust its luck a second time. The whole time it awaits an answer out of the scary birdman he is crying and shaking like a leaf. But meanwhile, a certain warforged was ignoring all distractions from his goal of sword retrieval...
Grixx is sad to hear that Charles died as it could have been him but Grixx is so relieved to see that he is no longer diseased and goes running toward Drago to return the Periapt of Health.
Drago is very happy that Grixx is healed and graciously accepts the Periapt of Health from him. "I'm glad that you at least were able to benefit from our work here. But it grieves me to know that Charles is gone and we could have saved him if we had watched him better and kept him covered in water. Still your preservation is a great benefit."
(@Ori: Well, the original DC was 10, so reducing it as I said I would... Guidance saves the day again.)
Jury manages to retrieve Grixx's old Moon-touched Sword from the murky pool of water, although it takes him a good 20 minutes to complete the task (Jury would not be present for the imminent reunion with Bone, although Verdict and Justice would.)
Grixx lowers his head, "Charles sacrifice will not be forgotten. The elf said they were a trial fighter like us and were trapped here. Do you find truth in their words?"
((Sorry! Thanksgiving holidays, always a nice time to catch up with family!))
Bone blinks twice at the creature, seeming to recognize it, and says, "Bone." The voice is familiar to Verdict. Bone puts the arrow back in the quiver and puts the bow back on his back. "Bone." he says again as he goes closer to Verdict.
Verdict is slow to relax. But, once 'Bone' at least put away the bow and began making his way over, Verdict cheers again and starts waddling his way over to the Kenku. Ultimately, he leaps the final distance into Bone's hopefully waiting arms. Even if he doesn't hug him, that doesn't stop Verdict from clinging on, crying happy tears all the while.
The noise of which echoes in Jury's mind, prompting him to send Justice the long way to go investigate the noise. In the meantime, he continued to busy himself attempting to move the blade from its impromptu resting place. As soon as he has his prize in hand, he'll head over to rejoin the others.

With time, Verdict helps Bone find his way back to the grassy room, where the Daylight enchantment perpetually indicates dawn. Justice, Grixx and Drago also walk back into their designated rest room, reuniting with Verdict and its "new" friend. Although the sight of the Kenku is an unexpected one, knowledge of the Reincarnate spell placed on all trialists, as well as a deeper connection with their companions tells them that this must be Charles, in a way. Jury is not quite back with the rest of the party just yet, but his arrival is imminent.
(OOC: You guys have yet to find a way out of here.)
Bone, upon seeing, the others will make random bird noises and just keep saying "Bone. Bone. Bone. Bone." with an excited tone and the voice is familiar to everyone.
Drago will begin searching along the walls in the grassy room for anything that looks like a way out: search - perception: 17
While Jury is still in the water he will also search the walls of the aboleth's water lair flying on his broom: (next action) search - perception: 15 (it may take several actions/turns to finish these searchs)
Once Verdict clamors his way up to head of the Bird Man he takes off into the air, only to land back on the ground. It takes him a while to do whatever the little guy planned to do, so the others are free to discuss things, or what have you. Though if any pay any particular attention to the little guy, the message 'Dispel or Darkness?' becomes clear from the torn out grass. Or was it special grass!? Meanwhile, once Jury surfaces at last, Justice the Topi clamors up until it sat on his shoulders, kicking his legs in the air, and trying to coerce the passive internal hissing into a tune.

Grixx approaches the Kenku. "Charles! I mean, Bone. I know it could have very well be me that was transformed. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. I will protect you at all costs with what life I have left!"
Grixx pounds his chest as the Oath is made.
Grixx will check over the grass to ensure their are no natural hazards that could hurt his party.
Satisfied with Charles' new form, Drago leaves the reunion early to find a way out of Aboleth's lair. Despite his best efforts for the next 15 minutes or so, the sorcerer is not able to find anything suspicious about the stone walls in the pool room, or the moss-covered walls in the grassy room. He does notice, however, that the sticky and watery substance that was covering the walls in the pool room has begun to slowly dissolve.
Bone continues to revel on the reunion with his compatriots, taking in Grixx's promise, watching Verdict slowly deliver his message, and eventually seeing Jury and Justice walk into the grassy room. Jury now has a muddy Moon-touched sword, greatsword on his back too.
Meanwhile, Grixx studies the grass. The vegetation in this room is the only thing in here that looks to be natural and healthy. Furthermore, the viscous substance that passed by water that was covering the grass is now becoming more water-like and slowly sipping through the soil as regular water would. It no longer smells as foul as it did before. It has probably something to do with the Aboleth being dead for a few hours. The barbarian determines that it should not be harmful.
Drago realizes that he has yet to welcome "Charles" back. He wanders over and gives the interesting looking Kenku a big hug. "Good to have you back. Charles ... or whatever we can call you now? You call yourself ... Bones? Is that it?"
Drago searches the perimeter of the two largest room without success. He then waits for Jury to reappear above the water. Looking at the others Drago has some ideas. "I have searched the perimeter of this room and the water lair of the monster. Jury, did you find anything in the water that would suggest a way to move to another area of the trials? I would assume not. It would seem there is no obvious way to continue our quest in these areas. We may need to search the water in the small pool in the area where we found the potion. Jury, are you ready to descend into that water to see if there is more under that small pool than meets the eye? I can no longer breath underwater so you are the obvious choice to search in that area"

Jury had been staring at Bone for the longest, but never once says anything. The Warforged just stares until Drago returns with his request/news. "My focus had been on retrieving a reagent, admittedly. So, I cannot say one way or another. That said, I guess I can perform this task. Though admittedly, I rather not. As I do, consider that--" Jury gestures to the message created by Verdict. They do not wait for a response before making their way back to the side pool room, leaving Verdict to stick with bone, and Justice to again keep look out on the surface while he dropped into the pool to begin his investigation with a prayer.
The black Kenku nods to Drago, "Bone." He also waves at Jury, noticing him staring. Upon hearing the mention of going in to the water, Bone opens his satchel and takes out a candle, using his tinderbox to light it and points to the water with the candle lit. "Water." he mimics from Drago.
