Boo's eyes narrow as she closely watches and listens to the Gnome'sresponse... scrutinizing him as she takes note that he stiffens a bit at the query. Slowly like raggedly dressed shade, Boomoves forward past the others peering at him... studying him... predator to prey... her gaze meeting his, taking special note of his head covered with painted purple eyes, "come now we are servants of the seen and unseen! Lies to do not become us!!!"Slowly Booraises her hand moving her forefinger about in the air pointing at his painted purple eyes one-by-one counting them aloud for all to hear, "1... 2... 3..., etc." a smile crosses her small scared lips, as Crawling ClawLooHelp suddenly emerges from her pack crawling about spider-like along Boo'sshoulder Intimidation22, "strange how one with how many eyes was it? Should not pride himself on his observational prowess and why that particular number of eyes I wonder? I find that most things have some sort of meaning don't you... my dear fellow? But I don't wish to disturb you with troublesome questions... that are of no concern of mine... so why don't we just stick to the Floon matter shall we? Keep it simple, uncomplicated among friends... so we can be on our way and not take up any more of your time than we need to!"
The gnome is a bit disturbed by Boo. He quaveringly says, "Two well-dressed fellows of similar appearance and bearing, both matching your description, were jumped outside the shop by rough-looking men in black leather armor. I think there were five attackers, but none of them looked familiar. One of the attackers had a black tattoo of a winged snake on his neck."

Miri, who has been half-listening as Boo talked with the gnome, suddenly stiffens in surprise at what the gnome reveals. How does Boo do it? she wonders. There is definitely more to the little one than meets the eye.Miri resolves once again to make sure she keeps an eye out for Boo.
As Boolistens as the Gnome describes what he witnessed Loo skitters back inside Boo's backpack and disappears from sight, "thank for your assistance Xoblob it is most appreciated,"and silently turns to walk out the front door back into the street... to then continue to make her way on to the Skewered Dragon.
Miri pockets her stone deftly and turns to follow Boo out of Xoblob's shop. "Boo," she says . "Are you heading out back of the shop to see if there are any clues there?" Miri turns to Summer, Kol, and Zuldarr. "Or should we split up and some look out back and some go on the Skeevy Dragon?"
Boo shrugs and looks up at Miri"I am just heading towards our original destination, the Skewered Dragon,"and continues walking along slowly... letting the others decide what they are going to do and how they are going to do it. Should majority change their mind about checking out the tavern then Boowill turn about and follow the main body of the group without a word.
[[OOC: Apologies, I became unexpectedly busy last two days, couldn't find time to check the forums. I'll be sure to let everyone know next time that happens, though <3]]
Summer looks up amid lacing his boots, and says to the group, "Since we're here, maybe we should just look out back - oh! Oh! Maybe we'll find even find some clues!!"
Miri turns gratefully to Summer. "Yes, perhaps there are clues out back. Let's go out there and look first, and then we can continue on to the Skewered Dragon," she says.
Booshrugs not really caring or having a preference will turn about and follow Miriand Summerto look for cluesout-back then before going on towards the Skewered Dragon. The described attack was out front of the store, You can't get too much in the way of clues, but there are some signs of some activity there.
The Skewered Dragon is just around the corner, on FIllet Lane. The Skewered Dragon looks like a ruin. Both of its front-facing windows are smashed, and a ship’s anchor is lodged in the roof. Through the windows, you can see a group of haggard patrons drinking from huge tankards.

As they walk from Xoblob's to the Skewered Dragon, Miri will whisper to the others. "What does the winged snake tattoo mean? Does anyone know?" She looks up as they approach the Skewered Dragon. "This place looks like it's seen better days. I wonder how that ship's anchor got there?" she muses out loud. She shrugs her large shoulders and says, "Well, at least they have something to drink." Miri wanders in after Boo, looking around to see if she notices anything in particular, especially someone with a winged snake tattoo. Perception: 11
