"So...Kara, in the armor," says Zanigur to the tiefling as she falls to the back rank with him. He absently plucks the strings of his lyre as he talks. "You like jokes?"
"Of course," Kara responds with a stoic face. "Why? Did you wish to hear one?"

Grimm, on hearing Zanigur's comment, ever so slightly rolls her eyes.
She then states, "Good call, Irena. I won't be able to pay attention on the path much as my undivided attention will be on our new friend here." Grimm continues to aid the goblin walk, keeping a keen eye on him should he decide to take the path of treachery.
"Want to hear a joke about paper?" Kara asks as her lips curl slightly upwards. She feigns distress, poorly, and adds, "Nevermind it's tearable."

Zanigur remains silent for a moment, and wipes his nose while looking forward at the trail. “You should be careful what you joke about...my best friend was made of paper. He died in a tragic ripping accident,” hesays with a straight face.
"Wait, what?"Kara's face faults, "I'm sorry, I had no idea there were people made of paper. I'll be lucky if you don't rip me to shreds.
Ahh...? Ahh...?" Audible winking.

Puck itches the bridge of his nose a bit, cringing at the jokes being told, but he can't help but smirk. Then he pulls his notebook from his bag and starts taking more notes about the fight with the goblins, their seemingly captured benefactors, and their current detour. His smile grows as he writes, walking at the back of the group with his head buried in his book.
As they walk, Zanigur calls up front, "Gob--Urag, how many of you are there in this cave? And is it goblins? Or do we have to worry about other creatures?" His voice still has an edge to it, belying his casual stride at the rear of the group.
While Zanigur and Puck really try to find a good hiding spot, the oxen don't particularly enjoy having brush blocking their view and keep moving away. Eventually they just attach their harness to a nearby tree well enough off the roadway to hopefully avoid easy detection.
Between the stronger members of the party, carrying the bound Urag is easy and he makes no attempts to fight or escape. He seems to be placing his trust that you will keep your word not to murder him if he shows you the way to his hideout. "Most helpful Urag, thinks less than 4 hands of goblins there, don't know if others out ambushing. Just goblins. Oh, and Klarq boss. He a bugbear." He trails off briefly, trying to remember if anything else is in his hideout. "And few wolves, but they tied up. Unless you make a racket." He looks back at the strumming lyre, but doesn't actually say anything.
The trail is easy to find with Urag's guidence, it follows off to the northwest. As you walk, Urag tries to keep his eyes towards the front of the trail, he explains there are two traps along the way that they set. About 10 minutes into the journey he points out a simple snare trap that you can either disarm and bypass without issue. Another 10 minutes along the pathway, he points out a pit trap. Both traps were crude and easily spotted by Irena even without Urag's guidance. As the party gets closer, Urag starts to get fidgety and you can tell he is becoming increasingly worried about his position and decision to betray his companions. "...you going to kill all? No tell anyone surviving that Urag help you. They torture me if they know... The cave coming up soon, another 20 minutes or so. Usually there is two lookouts behind a thicket. If quiet, you might be able to sneak up on them without sounding alarm."
By your reckoning, you've traveled approximately 4 1/2 miles from the trail
“We are going to recover our friends. Any that stand in our way will meet the same fate that befell your fellow goblins,” says Zanigur to Urag. “So if you wish to help us, you can serve as a distraction for these lookouts. If you perform well for us, you will have our gratitude. If you don’t...”
Zanigur nods at the goblin, glancing once more at the others.
"My dear Zanigur,"Kara shakes her head, "I believe Urag has fulfilled his promise. Unless you mean to tell me you worry about a score of goblins. Based on my estimation from our previous engagement, I think we are more than capable. Maybe others among these goblins would prefer to live over die for some bugbear lord. Urag, how devoted to this bugbear's cause are your people?"

Urag gulps as his eyes dart around the group. "If Urag distracts guards in thicket to make it easier to sneak up on them, you release me? Let me go? No kill?" His beady eyes seek out Kara's, pleading.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Puck places his hands on Urag's shoulder, moves his face close to Urag's, looking deep into his eyes.
"And you promise you wont just alert your friends as soon as you get out of our range? Remembering how generous we've all been to you thus far, of course."
Puck stares at Urag intently, attempting to read his body language and determine if he answers honestly.
"Urag promise." Puck has a difficult time reading Urag's face and body movements, the differences in goblin physiology and cultural inclinations than that of his own people throws off his ability to pick up on indicators of untruths; however, he seems genuine. At least genuinely terrified of this group and their capabilities after watching his friend's head explode for no good reason.
Urag realizes he never answered Kara's question and responds. "Most follow because we scared of him and he biggest, strongest. He thump all who try to be boss."
"So...Kara, in the armor," says Zanigur to the tiefling as she falls to the back rank with him. He absently plucks the strings of his lyre as he talks. "You like jokes?"
