Goblin Archers Saving throw 11 vs Synas Spell Save DC 13
Cold damage to Goblin 1
Syna casts another frostbite spell, this time across the valley towards the second goblin archer. The Archers hands crispen, glisten and turn an icy shade of white. It screams with pain and tries to wriggle heat back into them. Below, the charging goblin has begun its ascent of the steep muddy southern embankment.
On the summit of the southern embankment, the remaining goblin is still fiercely engaged with Beetle. He raises his sword... 17... bringing it down into Beetlejuices shoulder 5. The blow is hard, causing the paladin to stagger slightly. The goblin screams a victorious cry, raising its sword and shield above it’s head.
Seconds later, a black feathered arrow splits the musky forest air towards Zyltris. 9 A nearby tree takes the arrows full force as it misses its target.
The third Goblin, covered in a thick mud, finally reaches the top of the slope. He draws his sword ready for battle and cries out in anger.
OOC: I’ve moved the third goblins disadvantage to its movement up the slope. It won’t attack this round, but has no (dis)advantage next round
Seraks crossbow bolt flies straight and true into the arriving goblins right shoulder. It knocks the monster back causing it to temporarily lose balance. The goblin admires his new piercing and pulls it out sharply. He fixes his gaze squarely at Serak and points his scimitar in his direction menacingly
OOC: Round two of combat is over. Continuing to round three with the same initiative order.
Zyltris
Beetle
Syna
Goblins 3/4 remaining
Serak
Goblin Postitions
One Scimitar engaging Beetle,
One Scimitar at top of embankment about to target Serak,
One Archer about 25ft away through difficult terrain on other embankment
Edit: misread that he is no longer at disadvantage, but I'll still target the same goblin.
OOC: No worries. His speed would have allowed him to cover the slope distance but as it’s steep terrain, a disadvantage on movement would have left him no distance to attack so the two cancel each other out. Combat disadvantage would have ended after his movement turn ended.
OOC: Yes Zyltris is just behind the first goblin after missing his previous attack. He can turn on the spot and attack again if he’d like with no issues
Zyltris, frustrated at his lack of accuracy with the morningstar, turns towards the goblin nearest him and reaches out with Shocking Grasp hoping to shake the goblin a bit. Attack: 11 Damage: 6
Zyltris face is red with frustration at his misfortune in the battle thus far. Putting his Morningstar aside, his hand begins to light up with a thousand tiny lightning strikes. He reaches out, grabbing the nearest goblins shoulder from behind. The electricity crackles against the leather of its armour but fails to penetrate any further. Shaking him off the goblin throws an elbow backwards at Zyltris. He grunts a goblin insult at the high elf and resumes his swiping at Beetle.
Beetle determined to rid the world of this filthy creature brings hi sword down once again on the goblin he injured last yelling "Tyr guide my blade!!!"
Longsword clashes against a leather shield. Scimitar against steel. Both adversaries matching each other’s attack with a swift dodge or deflection. Beetle cries out slashing his longsword downwards again at the Goblins shoulder. A sidestep followed by a shield blow to the face. The attack misses. The Goblin thrusts his face towards Beetles and forces out an dark throaty laugh. Dark beady eyes staring into the paladins. Sharp yellow teeth exposed.

OOC: I’ll take Kasians move as he’d listed earlier. Kasian if you’d like to change the attack and it still makes sense I’ll do that for you.
Synaagain casts Frostbite on the menacing goblin Archer.
Goblin saving throw: 7 vs Synas Spell Saving Dc 13
The icy air already engulfing the north embankment intensifies again. Syna concentrates on the Archers hand again as it turns an icy white causing 5 damage.
The goblin cries out in severe pain as the ice crystals begin to cover his entire body. Ears snap from extreme cold, hair falls like autumn branches. The goblin, shaking from the severity of the cold, tries in vain to steady his bow
The battle between Zyltris, Beetle and the goblin continues. The Scimitar swings wildly around the goblins head. Beetle dodges left, Zyltris ducks, the goblin lunges again at Beetle, a worthy adversary this day....21. Scimitar meets flesh through chain mail, 4, as Beetle takes a slice above his left hip. He winces slightly at the impact, the sadistic glee evident on the goblins face
The frozen goblin archer shakes violently in the thorns. His beady black eyes frosted over, unable to clearly see any targets. He aims roughly in Synas direction hoping to make his mark. 8 / 24. The arrow is released but sails harmlessly over the tree canopy
At the top of the embankment, the mud covered goblin stomps angrily towards Serak. Scimitar drawn ready. A fast walk turns to a charge, the weapon hangs in the air above the beasts head. It leaps towards the bard, 22 and slices the blade down his chest. 4 A thin red line forms down a new crack in Seraks studded leather chest plate and begins to soak into the now tattered shirt fabric.
Seraks thrust is mistimed. The goblin steps backwards avoiding the pointed blade and parrying with his shield. He glances at Seraks wound, clearly impressed with his work and prepares to strike another blow
In the centre of the battlefield, a single goblin still holds off both Beetle and Zyltris convincingly. The sounds of steel on steel a delight to the goblins long pointed ears. They shout encouragement at each other as the sense victory drawing near.
The goblin archer on the northern slope slowly begins to thaw out as the sunlight of the late afternoon comes from behind a cloud. His grip returns, he grasps for another arrow.
OOC: Round three of combat is over. Continuing to round four with the same initiative order.
The goblin gets more relentless in his attacks. Beetle can only dodge so many blows in his heavy armour, and parry so many thrusts. Finally the goblin makes his move, grabbing Beetles chain mail he throws him backward. The paladin stumbles slightly, his leg buckles, a knee touches the soft forest floor. Looking up his eyes meet the goblins, Scimitar hanging in the air above him descending fast, a battle cry fills his ears.
CRACK!
Beetles eyes slam close. Blood splatters across his face. In that moment he has accepted his fate and waits for Tyr to great him. Then nothing. Not even pain. Silence, but.... a living silence? He feels a slow warm breath against his face, Tyr has an interesting smell. Opening an eye he sees the goblins face inches before him, it’s right leg completely shattered, pieces of broken bone poking through its green skin.
CRUNCH!
A familiar looking Morningstar smashes through the goblins dumbstruck head, it’s strong solid dome collapsing like a broken egg. The limp lifeless corpse falls to the side, standing behind it the figure of an elf. Zyltris, silhouetted against the evening sun, Morningstar in hand, breathing heavily. He offers an arm to Beetle and beams a huge smile.
“You strike true at such an opportune time my friend,” Beetle says as he turn to check on Serak. With that Beetle sees the goblin drew blood that last swing and now must intervene. Beetle steps towards them, trying to position himself between the foul goblin and the bard, and he swings....
Attack: 16 Damage: 3
OOC: I'm not sure if I could get between them but figured I would try, if not I'm just attacking as I close the distance.
Zyltris helps Beetle back to his feet with a strong red soaked arm. Across the thicket Serak dodges another goblin attack, but clearly hurting from his wound. Beetlejuice tears forward through the thicket once more.
The sound of the goblin war horn fills the forest again. The mud soaked goblin turns his head momentarily to seek out the source of the sound and a split second later stares at his own headless body as his skull hits the floor.
Beetle stands over his slain foe, longsword dripping. With the southern embankment now cleared of his comrades, the goblin archer steps out of the thicket and moves to flee

The goblin makes a constitution Saving throw 1 against Synas Spell Save DC 13.
As he turns to run the cold engulfs him once more, 3. It spreads up his body and he stiffens. His freezing breath visible as he exhales, slowly becoming weaker. He collapses into the thicket, dead.
OOC: All the goblins have now been defeated. 50xp is awarded to each person in the party. That was a great battle guys thank you, I really enjoyed this one!

Attack: 6
Damage: 8
Edit: misread that he is no longer at disadvantage, but I'll still target the same goblin.
