Al- first, will take a few sips from his waterskin and savor the (by now) luke warm liquid refreshment. Then, knowing what supplies he needs in order to make healing potions with my alchemists kit[unless you only allow it be done with herbalist kits] will scour the woods for an hour or so looking for the proper ingredients. In between taking a few bites of rations here and there Alesandair will begin working on a potion of healing after setting up the alchemist supplies before getting some much need (spell) restorative sleep 😉
Wraeven, [I'm going to wait to respond some of your activities] Your raven returns to you, make a perception check for it, using your bonus gained from the bird. Do you share your Raven's sleep habits with your fellow travelers? or are you having it watch over/for anything particular?
Alesandair, make a nature check with advantage since you are spending a full hour looking for and gathering supplies.
it will take a full 8 hours to manufacture once you have the supplies to fully craft the potion.
If you want the benefit of a long rest, you will only be able to work for 3 hours tonight (after the 1 hour of supply gathering).
The last 2 manufacturing hours of the 8 total will be treated as a ritual casting that expends a spell slot as you essentially cast your cure wounds spell as part of the potion making process.
You manage to find some bright red berries which are high in anti-oxidants that you know to be an essential ingredient when developing a healing potion. If you are taking first watch, can you make two different perception checks for me?
[and then we will pause until the rest of you all describe your preparations for the night]
Wraeven is having the bird watch for threats to the younglings coming from the woods. Wraeven will have the bird stay within 100ft so he can share it's sight hearing. As long as this bird has been an imposition on Wraeven, he feels justified in making use of their connection now.
Apparently the cicadas are really loud right now. Or Ayra and Lil are dueling banjos.
Ayra looks around as her companions busy themselves making preparations for the night. This will be her first night away from the comforts of a warm bed, and while she feels like she should be doing something to prepare, she does not know what.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As she finds a good spot to place a tarp on, Mobya notices Ayra looking around and calls to the young lady: ”Ayra, come help me with the babies” she says. “We need to find some food to feed them, clean them a bit, and play with them for a little while otherwise they will be awake all night and we all need some sleep. Also, I could use somebody close to the basket, but on the other side, as we sleep”
Grateful for some direction, Ayra joins Mobya and the young ones. She quickly sets to work in helping out, casting prestidigitation to clean up one of the babies.
Wraeven, your feathered creature provides little of help about the surrounding area: The canopy is just a bit too thick above. The black bird flies up to rest on a limb in a nearby tree though as you walk up to Mobya who hands you the backpack of Littles down from the front of the wagon. They peer up at you from the basket as you lean it against the cartwheel, [ "living take priority before dead," you think.] Once Mobya hops down from the wagon, then you move to the back of the second wagon and find the wrapped up corpse. Passing Lil and the merchant, you mention your willingness to take a watch as they begin to stand up and stretch from their seat on the wagon, "mooch tenks, freent." One you get to the package, the blood stains on the outside of the blanket have darkened, and you note the body beginning to smell a bit from the warmth of the afternoon.
Ayra, as you move away from the wagons walking around the small clearing and try to figure out what to do in this very foreign situation, you remember stories from fairy tales and travelers that always seemed to include some sort of fire, so you begin gathering some firewood and placing it in a hollowed area at the center of the clearing where you notice a bit of leftover charcoal from some past occupant of the makeshift campsite. About this time, you see Alesandair wandering off into the forest as Mobya asks for your help with the Littles nearby. (META: As I was writing this, I was thinking about baby messes, Nice work on the prestidigitate hahaha...worlds of magic make certain things a lot easier hahaha). As you clean the little ones, they giggle at the bubbles that magically remove the soot of the under dark and the soiling of the snacks you all gave them earlier.
Silv'ar you move into the trees and manage to find some wild game tracks that appear to be match fowl with which you are familiar. you follow these tracks for about 15 minutes, then spot the creature about 50 feet away as the sun begins setting. Make a stealth check and an attack roll if you engage.
Agozur and Morn you see all of this action happening around you, and notice Silv'ar move into the trees but not Alesandair. Lil from atop the wagon you notice all this and the two moving into the forest in different directions without saying anything to anyone. What do the three of you do?
[Lil you would also have the cultural understanding of a Firbolg growing up where both men and women shared equally in child care both of animals and people.]
Silv'ar is your attempt to draw close to the creature, you get to about 40 ft when a colorfully plumed pheasant almost your size turns and looks at you, and it is clear you have not surprised it. As you raise your dagger(?) to throw, you note the distance is pretty far for a dagger throw, but not impossible, and it doesn't stop you from making the throw. [If your attack roll did not have disadvantage, roll a second attack roll and take the lowest since you are past the optimal range for your dagger.]
Agozur will begin to setup camp building a fire and setting out his bedroll near the wagon with the children assuming they wouldn't leave the group he won't bat an eye at his two comrades venturing into the woods.
Once he feels he's got enough of his sleeping spot setup and the fire going Agozur will take the small Orc from the basket if he's awake, just sitting and playing with him "Looks like you three have as big of a destiny as we do, don't worry little one Lil and I will not let you down".
Agozur, as you play with the now baby fresh Orc, you realize this one seems hefty in places you wouldn't expect and light in places you would. Turns out this one is a girl, and she keeps reaching for the hilts of your weapons.
Silv'ar, do you continue pursuit? Still in sight, the bird has run 25 feet further, scared by the object flying by its gullet.

[Lol SD I had originally wondered if there was skill I should use and decided to just spare us all the risk of you having to narrate a fail]
hahah it would have been a nature check to see if you knew how to, and survival to see if you succeeded hahah.

I miss the bird and as it runs off I sulkenly walk to go and pick up my dagger.
