"Agreed." says Hermenor. After donning all of his equipment once again, even if dirty, he tries to make good use of darkvision and lead the party our of this place.
Going down the hall you end up going down four steps. At the final step down you step onto the final step down your feet submerge into the water. Only ankle high at this time, but it’s going to make sneaking very difficult. The walls of the cavern seem smooth and man built as opposed to natural cave. On the floor is another black stone that’s positioned underneath a large hole in the ceiling. In fact it is directly under the other stone upstairs. The bucket lift is stationed next to it. There is a tunnel on the opposite side that continues onward.
It takes some time, a few rounds of destroying the stone, it’s hardy and takes some time. But as it breaks, rubble from above falls down. The two stones connected to one another. After the rubble, a body of a snake man slumps onto the pile of rocks, dead.
Making your way across the room into the new tunnel, hoping for a way out.
Perception Check DC 18 - read if successful:
You hear a suckling slurping noise slowly emerge from the room with all the equipment behind you. At a slow pace it looks like an ooze of some sort has taken form and is giving chase. Mostly clear, it looks like the material that lined the walls and covered your equipment. It’s going at a slow pace.
The tunnel is dark and looks to go on for a while. Still smooth, too perfectly rounded for a natural cavern.
Turning corner down the hall to make your way out through the tunnels. The Ooze slowly chasing after you. You begin to head down into the maze of caverns. Boots are soaked through (paws for one) the water sloshing around with each step. Forward is darkened trying to make your way out, will need a survival check from whomever is leading.
Hermenor is able to keep at a good pace picking tunnels and guiding towards the hopeful destination to get out. The ooze quickly falls behind, but the echo of waves from its movement is always following you.
The tide continues to fill the chamber as high tide sets in. It’s up to your waist by the time you find a set of stairs up the the first level. Walking up the steps out of the water. It’s curious as the stairs end the tunnels turn back into natural cavern. Continuing down the winding route out. You hear voices up ahead. Deep boisterous voices bickering with each other.
“Move it! Master is waiting for us!”..... “I can only go as fast as you, you horse’s ass!”.... “I’ll smack you senseless!” .... “I’d like to see you try!” .... it’s followed by a loud thud and what sounds like an altercation between two men. Some groaning begins as well.
Peering around the next corner you see what appears to be an Ettin fighting itself with an ogre standing off to the side waiting for it to finish. A large sack has been dropped on the floor while the Ettin rolls on the ground beating itself.
(Water would’ve been around chest high for Ragnir, but you made it out of the water level once you went up the stairs. Solid normal ground.... for now. Edited the post for more clarity)
Tyr just nods at Ragnir's words "Yes hopefully, otherwise we will wish we had just stayed back there." He just begins to move up the stairs his hands staying on the hilt of his swords.
Priton lets out a grown as he sees the Ettin and Ogre "Alright, how about truce until were out of here you 3." Priton says as he holds up his hands a little away from his weapons but close enough he could still grab them

The ogre is the first to turn around. “Ugh?” It looks to Priton with a puzzled expression. Drool is cascading out of its mouth as half it’s jaw is missing. It’s eyes greyed over black pupils. It’s brownish/green flesh is patchy with dried blood and muck. Boils all over its body while the rest is covered in sack cloth.
The Ettin on the ground grabbing and smacking at each other, both heads look up to meet the gaze of the Dragonborn. “Hey you!” “You’re not supposed to be here!”Stayoutof ourway!”

"We should smash this cursed boulder!" Hermenor proposes.
He prepares two punches in case his companions agree to it.
-> Punch the rock! Attack: 11 Damage: 8 magical bludgeoning.
-> Punch the rock! Attack: 13 Damage: 9 magical bludgeoning.
"If you want to i'm ok with that, but I just want to make sure we get out alright." Priton says

“Shouldn’t we just run?” Hermenor days, looking over his shoulder at the ooze Priton pointed out.
"I'm fine with running, as long as we get out of here." Professor Honeyton proclaims. His stomach rumbles and he frowns wistfully.
