Ebokk will stay at the camp, not wanting to miss the sundown like he almost missed it last night. He will make sure to have enough firewood and get the fire started well before sundown.
Jambiya hangs about the camp, too, occasionally chatting with Ebokk, occasionally reading her mother's book, and she makes sure to take a nap in the late afternoon, since she expects they will be up all night.
When Ebokk begins getting the fire going, she will help gather any wood he needs, and she will light it with magic.

Erric spends time with Jambiya, picking berries, bantering, and allowing Snap to keep an eye out for the other party. Later, he'll check in with Ebokk and ask about his journey, and what he's learned about it beyond what was in the letter, and how he found out about it. He'll try to further win Snap over by plying it with morsels from lunch and dinner.
Eventually, he'll begin to wonder about the vault and look around the cliff face where Ebokk says the door has appeared, wondering if he sees any signs of footprints or items dropped outside.
Erric would want to look around the cliff face per the above. He also would grab a catnap or two with the understanding of a long night. He'd also pack a bag of some pebbles, some sticks of various sizes, and some dried leaves scrounged from around the campsite. "Never know what a place like this might require!"
Maldorn and Erric bring back three rabbits for the group to eat by the time the sun begins to dip from its highest point. They had a chance to take a doe down, but decided to let it go as most of its meat would have gone to waste.
Maldorn entrusts the lagomorphs to Jambiya and her skilled cooking hands.
Just before sundown, Maldorn will finally begin smoking his pre-prepared serving of Blackberry Latakia tobacco. (CON modifier -1; INT modifier +1, for an hour.)
Jambiya cleans and cooks the rabbit, but there isn't really time to smoke it for carrying along, so she suggest this be dinner. As nightfall begins, she helps break camp, and finds a spot on a rock to sit, watching the cliff face.
If Snap is nearby, she beckons him over, and has a quiet talk with him, projecting imagery along with her words. "We're going to go underground now, maybe for a little while, probably a few days, maybe longer. You can come, but if you don't want to go underground again (remembering the barrow where we found Snap), you don't have to. I don't know if we'll come back out this way, I don't know what the magic of the door is like on the other side, but if we come out somewhere else, I'll try to get back here. If you want to wait, you can, but if you don't want to, I'll be back in Seldom Spring after a while, okay? I'll miss you, but I want you to be happy, Snap."

OOC: Sorry, Mobius, I know I read that post, but then forgot to address it.
Erric, roll an animal handling check to find out how successful your time with Snap was.
At Erric's request, Ebokk leads the group for a daytime inspection of where he has witnessed the appearance of the vault opening. It is about 50 feet from the camp, but the terrain between the two spots is rocky, uneven, and slightly treacherous, so his camp location is logical. There is no sign of any kind of opening in the rock face. No cracks. No drafts. No discoloration of the stone. There are also no tracks leading in or out.
Erric, you have a pocket full of leaves, a pocket full of pebbles, and three relatively short, but sturdy sticks that can stick out of your pack's flap. (I don't see an empty bag in your inventory.)
Jambiya, roll an animal handling check for me, too, please.
(Do I recall we decided that since Snap is not an animal (he is a dragon, not a beast), her speaking with animals invocation doesn't allow her to just talk to him?)

OOC: Actually (through the magic of D&D), a pseudodragon understands both Common and Draconic, so everyone can talk to Snap. And it can "magically communicate simple ideas, emotions, and images telepathically with any creature within 100 ft. of it that can understand a language." So, there's a pretty good bit of communication that can happen.
Erric, your time with Snap is productive. You're not sure if it's the treats or your winning personality (or the combination of the two), but the pseudodragon seems to really take to you today.
Jambiya, on the other hand, feels like she's speaking to a brick wall during her explanation to Snap of what will be happening soon with the vault. The pseudodragon seems distracted. Perhaps he is hoping for more treats from Erric.
Erric grins at Jambiya. "Snappy's doing much better than after that gnoll fight! Okay then, should we try to get close to where you saw it last night, so we can jump in quick? And hopefully be able to jump out later? Otherwise, the beholder's joining the party, and while Anafrey was hard to talk to sometimes, at least she wasn't a terrifying eyeball."
He helps break camp and get everyone closer to the mountainside. He, as is his wont, does not suggest any kind of plan, or caution of who may be watching.
Maldorns agrees with the bard: "That's some good thinking, Erric." He evens go a step further and suggests: "Everyone should be ready to jump in at a moment's notice."
Oh, one more thing! About 15 minutes before sundown, Erric will ritually cast [spell[unseen servant[/spell] and summon Jack, who hopefully also will be able to come through ahead of the party.
Ebokk will help light the fire and make sure to pack all his things for the journey. Looking back a few times to see if anyone has forgotten anything and padding himself down just in case.
After that Ebokk will lead the group to where he saw the entrance last time and wait for the doorway to appear again.
What is Ebokk's purpose for coming to the vault and inviting his friends? If he is just being adventurous, so be it. However, if his goal is to find more treasure to help support his mother, do you need to say something to the group? Are you in a sense hiring them again? If you feel like you should have said something before entering the vault, you can post it retroactively.
The four adventurers — the old man, the curiously beautiful goblin girl, the innocent-looking halfling, and the stoic dwarf — gather near where Ebokk has twice seen the cave magically appear in the side of the mountain at sunset. Maldorn puffs his pipe, ignoring Sagitta as the winged snake slithers around his neck, occasionally tasting the air. Jambiya spends half the time looking at the rock and the other half watching Snap, who is crawling in and out of rock crevices no doubt looking for something to nibble on. Erric begins humming a tune the others have been listening to him develop for a while now. Ebokk stares solidly at the rock, willing the cave to appear. He worries it will not, and he'll look like a fool in front of the others. The sun lowers, and the shadows grow. The light dims. Owls begin announcing themselves. Ebokk starts urging the cave to appear with quiet words. "Come on ... come on." Snap disappears, and Jambiya cranes her neck to find the pseudodragon, now worried he might not see them enter the cave. Erric pulls one of the stones out of his pocket and starts fiddling with it while he silently tries to come up with a good rhyme for beholder.
Ebokk sighs as he gages the location of the sun. He thinks it should have appeared already. His shoulders droop, and he turns to break the news to the others when Maldorn and Erric stare agape at the rock behind the dwarf. Ebokk turns and is delighted to see the cave opening. But it is much smaller tonight: only wide enough for them to enter single file. Who knows how long it will be open?!
As they wait for the doorway to appear Ebokk will break the silence. Uhm.. about the vault. Im grateful that you all came here. You will all get a share of the treasures ofcourse. He says with confidence.
Then he mumbles a bit more Minus some expenses to acquire the map and information that is.
His voice a bit louder again. And not to mention all the fame when people will hear we are the first to extract treasure from the vault! We may have to think about our own names like 'blade'.
Another bit of time passes as Ebokk almost loses faith in finding the doorway again. Suddenly he perks up pointing forward THERE! .. HURRY it might close again quickly!
Ebokk quickly runs towards the doorway eager to pass through.
Jambiya has fully embraced her adventurer life now, and as soon as the gap appears, she is up and moving, as all four of her dancing lights flare to life and stream ahead of her, lighting the way into the hole as she nimbly scrambles through.
OOC > She will send the lights swooping ahead, stringing them along at 20' intervals, out to the full 80' if there's that much room.

The hunt goes well. Having hunted together a few times recently, Maldorn and Erric are beginning to work well together as a hunting team.
