OOC: While much of this world becomes hard shadows and clouds when you near it, the door remains a door. As far as you can tell, it is made of wood.
Everyone gets into position, Anafrey and Erric ready their respective weapons, Maldorn holds the torch ready to throw, and Jambiya clasps the doorknob in her hand. She watches the others, and when she receives nods from each of them, she takes a deep breath and pulls open the door. As soon as the door is open, Maldorn tosses the torch into the dining room. It lands on top of the table and bounces, cartwheeling down the surface. The four finely-dressed and human-looking once again individuals sitting at two sides of the table, illuminated by the swirling light, ignore the torch and turn to acknowledge the four adventurers. Watching with horror, the torch looks as if it is going to go tumbling off the opposite end of the table. Just as it reaches the terminus, it doesn't have sufficient momentum to complete its last revolution, and it falls to the tabletop and burns contentedly.
Anafrey aims at (1=red, 2=yellow: 1) the servant sitting on the left side of the table. (Shortbow attack: 9; damage: 7 piercing damage + sneak attack: 3) As soon as Anafrey's arrow lodges into the servant's collarbone, the glamours disappear once again, revealing the undead, shambling bodies the group are all too familiar with. Erric's stone flies through the air at the first servant (yellow) on the right side of the table, ricocheting off the creature's cheek.
DM rollz: 13
A chunk of gray matter flies off the undead thing's face, but it doesn't seem to notice.
The four creatures stand and begin shambling toward the open door. Jambiya, do you attack or close the door? The closest zombies are five and 10 feet away from you, and the other two are each five feet behind them.
(As we see them react to our attacks, are they damaged in the same way as we left them? Meaning, I think there were arrows sticking out of their heads when we last left them, and large chunks of flesh sloughed off. Do we see that, as the glamour fades and as they rise from their seats?)
Erric drops his sling and helps close he door, pushing on it to stay closed. He listens to check if the zombies are moving closer, stopping, or walking back to the table.
Can he look underneath the doorframe again to see if he sees the silhouette of feet on the other side moving at all? "Jambiya, Maldorn, let's listen to hear if they're heading back to their seats. Did you see that? They had their glamours on when we opened the door but after that I saw arrows still in them. They're still damaged, and we can keep doing this until they drop. Jambiya's got that powerful pew pew spell, so why doesn't she attack instead of Anafrey. We'll keep doing this -- Anafrey opens the door, I fire my shortbow, Maldorn fires his longbow, and Jambiya hits with her blast, and then Anafrey closes the door, staying safe and strong behind cover. Good plan?"
(If everyone's good with that, here's Erric's shortbow attacks for the next 5 attempts) Attack: 17 Damage: 9 Attack: 11 Damage: 5 Attack: 24 Damage: 7 Attack: 14 Damage: 7 Attack: 11 Damage: 8
OOC > Not sure on DDP's ruling, but I'll put five attacks out there for fun, too! No worries if we don't use them.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Maldorn agrees: "Good idea, Master Jeric!"
OOC: Might as well do the same, though it would feel like cheating to not use that one prepared attack I fluffed above which has not been used yet, so...
OOC: I'm fine with this. In fact, I considered suggesting this very thing. Let's see how this goes.
The group decides taking advantage of the curious way the zombies return to their seats each time the living is out of sight. Anafrey takes her position by the door, waits for the others to get ready, then throws open the door. After everyone has aimed and shot, she closes the door once again and waits a few minutes to make sure the zombies are once again returning to their seats. Erric also comments that he cannot quite see the whole room from his position, so the group decides some moving about each time would be good as well.
#1: Anafrey opens the door, then moves to the right behind the door to get out of the way. Erric steps to the right and fires an arrow at (1=red, 2=yellow: Unable to parse dice roll.2) the (yellow) zombie for 6 damage. (DM rollz: 18) The arrow disappears as it lands, and the creature doesn't appear to be any worse for wear. Erric moves back and Maldorn immediately fires an arrow from his position, but the angle is all wrong trying to shoot from where he is, and his arrow misses. The zombies stand and move toward the door, their glamours once again falling away to reveal their true selves. Jambiya, noticing Maldorn's problem shooting from a distance, moves closer to the door and releases a burst of green white energy at (1=red, 2=yellow: 1) the (red) zombie, hitting it square in the chest and blasting away some of its tattered clothing and even a gray rib or two. She then jumps back and Anafrey closes the door.
#2: Anafrey opens the door, the again moves behind the door out of the way. Erric steps over to the doorway and fires another arrow at the (yellow) zombie (which once again looks like a servant). (DM rollz: 15) Once again, the arrow disappears as it hits and the servant doesn't appear to notice. Maldorn hurries forward to get a better shot this time, but stumbles over Erric and send his arrow flying into the room, but missing any of the targets. Grumbling, he steps aside to let Jambiya have her stop. Once again, the servants and one nobleman stand up and change back into rotting humans. As they shamble forward, the goblin girl fires another blast at the (red) zombie. (DM rollz: 9) The zombie bursts into many, many grotesque pieces. Anafrey then quickly shuts the door and everyone has a brief celebration before the next round.
#3: Once again, Anafrey opens the door and steps aside. Erric quickly jumps into the doorway and fires another arrow at the (yellow) zombie, his resolve strengthened by the success last round. (DM rollz: 20) Unfortunately, the arrow once again disappears, and there is no visible sign that the zombie is hurt by his attack. He moves aside for Maldorn, who is careful not to trip over Erric, but loses his balance all the same, and another arrow goes flying off into the room, hitting nothing. The three zombie stand, two on the right side of the table, and the fanciest on the left side, and begin moving toward the door, revealing their true selves. Jambiya steps forward after the human gets out of her way and fires another blast at (1=blue, 2=yellow: 1) the (blue) zombie. She steps back and Anafrey closes the door.
#4: Everyone decides Maldorn should go before Erric this time, so after Anafrey opens the door and steps aside, the human steps forward and fires an arrow at (1=blue, 2=yellow: 2) the (yellow) zombie. (DM rollz: 18) Maldorn's arrow disappears just like Erric's did, but the servant falls backward out of its chair and lies still. Feeling even more confident in their progress, Erric takes Maldorn's place and fires an arrow at (1=blue, 2=orange: 2) the (orange) zombie. The arrow disappears just as his others had. The two remaining zombies then stand. The fancier zombie shambles forward, but the (orange) zombie has stumbles trying to get over the (yellow) zombie, which is sprawled on the floor in the way. Jambiya steps forward and fires a blast at the (blue) zombie. (DM rollz: 16) The blast misses, and the creature is still moving forward. Anafrey closes the door.
#5: Anafrey opens the door and Maldorn steps up first again, firing an arrow at (1=blue, 2=orange: 1) the nobleman. (DM rollz: 11) The mock royal falls backward out of its seat like the other had and Erric steps up, launching an arrow at the final (orange) zombie. His aim is slightly off, though, and the arrow passes right beside the servant. It then stands and begins trying to make its way toward the doorway. This creature, the undead version of a very plump and matronly servant, once again stumbles over its fallen friend. Jambiya fires another blast at the (blue) zombie. (DM rollz: 5) The blast slams into the plump zombie, leaving a little less of the creature. Anafrey once again closes the door.
I think I got everything right. I started getting a little confused a couple times, but I believe everything is right. Three down. One to go.
Erric says, "wow, it's working! Great job everyone!" He's trying to be inspirational without the actual "inspiration." He's up for trying twice more, focusing on the last one:
#6: Anafrey pulls open the door and dodges behind it, leaving room for Maldorn to step forward. He fires at the false matron, but his aim is off, and the arrow hits the wall near the corner. Erric then steps up to the doorway and fires his own arrow. As before, the arrow disappears, but then appears as the servant stands and its false image dissipates to reveal the true being beneath. It begins to try to move forward, once again having trouble because of the obstacle. Jambiya moves up and fires another blast of green white energy. It was hit, but doesn't look much worse for wear. Jambiya steps back and Anafrey closes the door.
At some point in this process Erric wonders aloud if it might make sense for one of us to pull the extra chairs at the table down on the floor in the remaining zombie's path to slow down its progress getting to us, giving more time to shoot it with arrows and blasts.
#7: Anafrey opens the door and ducks away. Maldorn steps up, but his shot is wide. Erric steps up and his arrow hits home, disappearing within the magic which gives the last creature its false visage. (DM rollz: 18) The woman then stands, her appearance changes, and she moves forward, having to work hard to try to get over the body in her way. Jambiya then steps up and releases another blast. He skims the side of the creature, taking with it some detritus. (DM rollz: 17) To the exuberant joy of everyone, the creature stops and collapses.
Erric just stands there, looking at the room for an extended period of time, his bow slack in his fingers, blinking. "Did.... did we do it?"
He peers in the room, looking for any sign of movement. "If there's a black swirly cloud door blocking entry into the hall, I'm going to yell some very bad curses I learned from a particularly creative half-orc I once knew."

OOC: Sounds right to me too. If we get a second round before the door is closed, that's when Maldorn would perform this attack.
