"Of course, you're right, if Floon's not here we're just breaking and entering. Saying 'a man who said he's a celebrity told us to' isn't a great defense," Briga muses. "So we might want to not get caught."
"OK, someone sounds confident about a plan, I'm down! Otherwise I'll run to buy some stuff. Uh, after I borrow some money. Nevermind, window it is," Briga says. She goes to the window, ready to B&E when given the signal.
When Griff knocks on the door, you can hear it echo within the warehouse. If there is anything in there, you can't hear or see it as there is no visible line of sight into the building. All of the windows have been painted over black so being able to see inside was not possible. After a few moments, there is no answer at the door.
(OOC: Briga, it sure is, I'll continue this when you've rolled.)
[OOC: Time zone issues again. I was blissfully asleep while all this was happening after continually checking my feed all day waiting for a move — I'm not thinking this is going to work for me, as on some days I would be going to work as well.]
Tyrus, who has only just arrived after having to rush out of the Skewered Dragon under the amused gaze of the patrons, is frankly amazed at what is happening.
"Wait," he says, looking specifically at the paladin, "Normal citizens become criminals when they take the law into their own hands. Also, it seems to me that our man Floon has been kidnapped by some sort of criminal gang. I'm thinking we need to involve the City Watch at this point?"
He then transfers his gaze to Briga and adds, "And, unless your being a bounty hunter gives you special privileges in this city, then you could be the next person to have a bounty put on them."
He then turns and starts walking towards the lone watchman he saw up the street. "I'm going to go and inform the Watch."
Approaching the Watchman, it was as if he didn't see Tyrus approaching. It wasn't until Tyrus was within arms reach that the watchman finally looked up to Tyrus and nodded. "Everything OK? Make it quick, there's a gang war going on and being out on the streets at night isn't wise for anyone. Best get to safety before things kick off again," the guard says to Tyurs.

"Actually, I want to report a missing person," says Tyrus. "A man named Floon, last seen leaving the Skewered Dragon and being tailed by five men."
Tyrus then points a thumb over his shoulder in the direction of the warehouse. "We think he's in a warehouse back that-a-way, and may be being held against his will, or worse."
He then adds, "And, if it makes any difference, I believe he's a rich man."
Tyrus would then like to make an Insight roll on the guard to see if it really would make a difference: 7.

The guard looks at you with tired eyes and just asks "how longs he be missin' for?" It's hard to tell if he's being earnest or just going through the motions before losing it in bureaucracy.

"A couple of days, according to his friend," Tyrus replies, while looking around to see if there are any more of the City Watch in sight [Perception roll: 19 ].
Briga blinks, steps away from her intended infiltration, and nods to Arlon while waving Griff over. "Let's see how Tyrus' approach goes with the watch. Going legit style. Bold move."
Briga waits to see how Tyrus' interaction with the city watch goes prior to taking any additional action herself to enter the warehouse with the snake symbol.
"You know what he looks like?" The guard asks, not getting out anything to write anything down. Looking around, it seems that this watchman is the only one that patrols this street and no others are around.

"Yes, I've been given a description," says Tyrus quickly. "But we think he could be in that warehouse with the darkened windows right now, and that his life could be in danger."
Then he softens his tone, "Look, I realise you're the only guard on this street, and that you probably don't want to investigate alone, but you don't have to. There's four of us looking for this Floon human, and all we need is you to make it official. Will you help us? There could be gold in it for you as well." [Persuasion Roll: 15 ]

OOC: Is there anywhere nearby to make purchases? If it's like a 10-20 minute detour I might go buy Thieves Tools and Crossbow Bolts
"how about this, you three go through the window. I'll knock on the door and keep 'em busy."

Griff waits for the rest of them to go around back near the window, and he knocks politely on the door.

Briga will attempt to forcibly go through the window at this time, presumably along with Arlon and Tyrus, per Griff's plan.
